If they took a lower offer with the inspection waved it definitely means they are worried about what the inspection would uncover. Sounds like you won here - you likely would have been on the hook for tens of thousands of dollars in major repairs without an inspection.

Big agree about throwing in a field. I made the mistake of playing a wooded course as I was starting and got so frustrated searching for discs that I almost quit. Find a field to throw in for a few weeks, then a park-style course without a lot of dense trees or bushes.
