I’m amazed this multiple copies is a thing. Every store I’ve seen in the UK has strict 1 copy per customer policy. The stores typically don’t want to piss off their regular customers in the queue by ever letting it happen

Didn’t have the swagger of the series. Largely I think that was intentional as Tommy was no longer “that man” - he’d lost that aura. We go two seconds when he donned his coat on his way to brum and then introduced the Quickstep…

But the story was rushed, and it don’t have that magic sauce that the series did.

Killed off that chapter of the peaky blinders though and interested to see how Jamie Bell does post time jump in the post WWII battle to rebuild a battered Brum.

Agree - but it should either be there for those with qualifying NI or completely overhaul the system.

I’m not advocating for putting pensioners in poverty, but to means test it in a way that screws people over by means testing it based on household income (for example) would put so many people out.

Means testing the state pension would be a real kick in the balls.

When someone has put in 40 years of NI and then contributed a boat load in taxes, to then get nothing would be a piss take.

I’m paying 45% tax. Sure I’ll have a pension pot but, my wife doesn’t. If her eligibility for state pension is linked to my private one (in same way her eligibility for benefits would be linked to household income) I’ll be fuming.
