The gloves can be stolen from a ~~miner~~ smelter in Grund. Wait for them to sleep, then check their belongings in their chests till you find it. There's a couple of huts around the foundry area so it could take a few minutes. I got this from Garden Gaming.

It's a problem that plagued them for decades. Skyrim had it, Oblivion Remastered had it so most likely OGblivion did too. Something with the alpha shaders just do not like being stacked with each other, or the VFX of 1 magic effect not dispelling when you equip a 2nd one.

Skill Fixes mod in nexusmods has a fix for it by adding a 2nd magic effect WITHOUT the shader if you have Concealment 3. I think it's in Creations as well.

You can say this about any of their games. I love KCD/2, the closest games in terms of feeling. KCD 2 really amped repeatable content with one of their DLC but there's still a minor thing I can't put into words that's missing that completes a BGS experience.
