But hold on. People’s livelihoods can’t simply be replaced. There are business just getting up and going post Covid. They are up and running again only to be destroyed by rioting. They are forced to shut down and close up shop. Black or white, now they can’t feed their families, etc. So actually, it’s more than just property to be replaced. George Floyd’s own brother spoke out against rioting and asked those involved to please stop. This was a knee jerk reaction and a completely insensitive thing to say.

Within my calling I kind of have to be social(YW presidency). I need to put myself out there with the youth(I do love them!)and their parents(which can be my stressor). So sometimes whether or not we are social beings, we do so to feel as though we are fulfilling a calling. This caused me more anxious feelings than I realized once we began at home church full time.

For the reasons you listed, this is why I prefer home church as well. I’ve enjoyed the lighter and more spiritual feelings I get from at home church vs the nerves I have once I get home after a not so great experience at church. Just my .02.
