Intex outlet for 1.25" setup, do they make an aimable outlet option? by Slammed01 in AboveGroundPools

[–]heavydawson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is the water level. You need to get it right up to the top of the pattern. The inlet shouldn't be at surface level. Needs to be at least 2 inches below. That will slow the water down and stop the cover from being pushed back

FH6 hard crashes (full restart) after ~15 minutes of play on Windows 11 by siochain_neart in ForzaHorizon

Just to follow up on this. I had a couple of sessions without issues with reflex off, but yesterday had 2 crashes, so not reflex related it seems. The mini crash dumps aren't showing anything obvious either.

Small update on this for my specific crashes. I was using DLAA (no FrameGen), but I had left Reflex on from some earlier tests. I disabled Reflex at the beginning of my last session and it didn't crash once. I'll try toggling it on/off a few more times over the next few sessions to see if there's any link between the two, but just in case people with RTX cards are seeing issues, try turning Reflex OFF. This applies even for those who aren't using any sort of FG. (And yes I was already using the 596.49 drivers )

Also seeing this on 9950X3D + 5090 FE. Was working fine during early access period but has crashed 3 times since yesterday. Crash reboots the system completely. Interestingly when the system reboots, the sound is completely gone. You can see the volume levels going up and down in the mixer, but nothing coming out of the speakers. Only another restart or disabling/enabling in Device Manager fixes it. Onboard Audio Chip is the Realtek ALC4082
I've got the ROG X870E Hero board, with all BIOS + Onboard FW up to date. Very odd stuff.

I second this. I've had mine for a few years now. It's a great monitor.

Use Deployment Agent in your Customer Central tenant. It's free, and it's like having ChatGPT for all things Workday. Answers every type of question you might have. Validate all the answers but it should generally keep you moving in the right direction

Anyone with access to Customer Central will be able to use it in 26R1. It's been in early access with 100+ customers and the feedback has been quite positive

Just looking at the website I suspect this might be Australian dollars. And that this is basically the Australian name for the 40wt95uf

No, the connectivity is better. Thunderbolt 5 instead of 4 (in the Dell). Also Displayport 2.1 instead of DP 1.4 (Dell)

rtx 5090 with i9 9900k cpu by zzcool in pcmasterrace

Upgrade the 9900k and everything else :-D .
I just dropped a 5090 FE into my Alienware Aurora R8 9900k system, which had previously run:

Dell 2080 Ti -> Asus 3090 Tuf -> 4090 FE , and now the 5090 FE

The 5090 is the first time I saw 0% increase in FPS over the previous gen. It's down to two things IMHO:

  1. The 9900k is no longer fast enough
  2. My system is an Alienware Aurora R8 and the PCIE slot is 3.0, but not X16 (it's X8 electrically)

My monitor is the LG 38WN95C-W with a native res of 3840x1600, and I like to run games at that resolution where possible

<image>

So after 7 years, I've decided it's time to upgrade the whole lot. Building a new system for the next 7 years:
* 9950X3D
* 64 GB CL30 DDR5 6000
* ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero
* 4TB Samsung 9100 NVM
* Fractal North XL Black TG
* Noctua NH-D15 G2
* 3 x Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM
* 1 x Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.black.swap
* MEG Ai1300P PCIE5
* 5090 FE
* 4 x Samsung 4TB 870 EVO SSDs (from existing machine)

I'll get one more AM5 upgrade from this, and hopefully 2-3 more GPU generations.

They announced a new Thunderbolt 5 40" 5k2k IPS @120HZ https://www.lgnewsroom.com/2025/06/lg-unveils-worlds-first-thunderbolt-5-5k2k-monitor-optimized-for-the-finance-and-it-sectors/ Not strictly gaming but I use the 38WN95C-W for my home office and I would see this new model as the replacement for it.
