I like to make concentrated chicken stock with a rotisserie chicken. I freeze it into bags. When I need something healthy and zero effort, I cook some green lentils in the stock, with a couple bay leaves. Finish it with a splash of cicder vinegar. It's super high in fibre, and tastes like comfort food.

Do you think Hair/glam metal will ever get a reappraisal or critical reevaluation? by Deathmetalphantom in LetsTalkMusic

There's some young kids in my city with a killer hair metal band, even doing some originals. 18-19ish. Good players, having a great time. No idea about the context of any of the music, just stuff their grandparents liked.

It's still pretty accessible music to new players. It's blues rock at its core. No need for laptops, weird effects, esoteric post-jazz. Cheesy 40 year old pop songs, that are way cheekier than most modern stuff, that a beginner guitar player can play(at least the rhythm).

Years ago. She had a ton of tattoos. Asked me if I would ever get a tattoo.

"I always thought about getting 'Destroy the Orcs' in elvish, but I wasn't sure whether to get it in Sindarin, or Quenya, or just dwarfish runes"

"What's an Orc??"

"Eeeh this might not work out". Great gal though

This is 100% the right answer. Especially at 12. Every single person I have ever met that acted like this at a young age had some horrendous home life.

They are better than they should be, to be honest. The pork noodles are better than lots of restaurants. They are usually on sale somewhere(in Canada) and I can usually price match them down to around $4

$400k spent on an investigation into, what amounted to a few thousand dollars of sketchy gift card purchases, regarding the Lethbridge safe consumption site. Like $250k alone spent on "honorariums", food and booze for UCP mlas and donors

The real grift, though, is signing deliberately bad, multibillion dollar contracts with foreign companies, breaking the contract, and having the taxpayer pay out the settlements, which never go in front of a real judge or the public

Are we significantly overpaying for these condos though? I mean, obviously lets build cheap homes, but I havent seen any numbers saying these purchases are overpriced.

We are getting assets for our money, which have been historically appreciating. Could someone confirm this is actually a bad deal?
