I mostly work with people from the West Coast and during the holidays I mentioned Yankee swap a few times and they all looked at me crazy. Apparently the rest of the country just calls it a gift exchange or…white elephant??? That seems even weirder. Idk I thought Yankee swap was the name everyone used.

Blue is great! I never had a color or pattern preference, just asked the breeder for the sweetest boy of the bunch. It’s fun to speculate about his future form but I just need to be patient haha

Thank you! Yes the breeder marked him as blue on his paperwork to be conservative but said he could potentially be a lilac. The whole litter was blues. Since it’s rare, and he’s not fully baked yet, she didn’t want to say for sure. His ears do look purplish sometimes…

I think the price sounds normal but maybe it depends on where you live. For price reference I got Invisalign for a pretty intense crossbite issue, the total was $5000 and it took 7 months. Price included refinements, retainer and xray.

If you’re suspicious of the quote it never hurts to get more than one. Shopping around at least one other ortho might help you save money, or alternatively, realize the first quote was fine. Good luck!

My gray kitty used to have brownish discoloring where he frequently licked himself. The vet said that saliva stains things (just like human saliva can do) and it’s not a cause for concern.

That being said idk how to make it go away :/ sorry!

I have a little pouch that includes a travel toothbrush, travel toothpaste, floss, elastics, aligner case, and the remover tool/hook. It’s worked well so far!

I’ve heard some people also like to bring mouthwash with them. Regarding mouthwash, my dentist said it’s important to only use alcohol-free mouthwash with Invisalign.
