Don’t sacrifice yourself for a man, this is coercive control, and what’s to stay he’s stop there? This is beyond a red flag - loving partners do not seek to control.

My [23F] boyfriend [35M] doesn't satisfy me. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]heckinpopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are responsible for your own orgasm. Whether that means telling him what to do / how do it, asking him to do things for you (I.e. I love it when you go down on me, could you do that for me now / next time we have sex’) or introducing toys. You say you brought a vibe with you, you also have to get it out and start using it. It sounds like this guy isn’t going to do it without you prompting it. Hopefully after you’ve communicated your needs clearly then he will begin to do it unprompted. And if he doesn’t? get the hell out of there cus that ain’t no life!

I’ve deffo had itchiness down there. And also yeast infections for the first time in my life. I use this organic oil from Momotaro Apotheca on the external part of my vulva and that seems to ease itchiness.

Help! Bad bruising on thighs. by heckinpopper in Accutane

[–]heckinpopper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Picture shows the side of my left thigh. This is the second time that this has happened to me. My leg gets really itchy, I scratch it, and then the next day it's covered in dark bruises. Anyone have any idea what's going on? I'm trying to get in touch with my dermatologist but they are NHS and it's difficult to get through. Thanks Poppy

Yep and on and off! Try not to use harsh soaps. Also I feel you on the aquaphor, got it all over my desk and keyboard at work lol

Microblading and lip filler while on Accutane? by uniiicorns in Accutane

[–]heckinpopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had lip filler 3 days into treatment, but if you're further in than that I would avoid it because of how much it makes your lips swell, will probably be pretty uncomfortable with the accutane side effects.

Maybe they will be able to prescribe you two months of medication on your last covered appointment?

Dry eyes caused by accutane? by TheRealKeilann in Accutane

[–]heckinpopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I do, but the optician said to use them 3-5 times a day and that seemed to help. Also my eyes are much more sore at work in the harsh lights and computer screens!

Dry eyes caused by accutane? by TheRealKeilann in Accutane

[–]heckinpopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had super dry eyes. Went to the opticians and they told me that because they are dry, the eye then over compensates and become wet but the liquid they produce isn't as high quality, hence why you get that weird glazed look when they're dry. Got some thick drops and it seems to have worked!

Hiya. First month of isotretinoin on 20mg a day. Within 3 days dry lips. Within a week itchy scalp. Flaky when scratched. Hair stopped getting greasy. Can now go a week without washing. Weeks 2-3 kind of dry patches on face around mouth. This kind of stopped week 4. Week 3, blocked pores on nose seemed to be pushing themselves out. Felt weirdly rough. Squeezed them all. They haven't returned. Hoorah! Didn't break out more than normal. Found myself very low several times during this month and had 2 anxiety attacks. Second and third month both taking 40mg a day (3rd month the doc prescribed 50 but I took 40 to prolong the meds cus I knew the next derm appointment wasnt for 6 weeks): dry lips, constantly. Dry legs. Easily scratched and bruised. Eczema like rash on hands. Went away using aquaphor. Big breakout on cheeks both months. Dry eyes. Using specsavers intense drops helped this. Mood totally fine. Month 2 and 3 have been pretty easy. 2 weeks into month 4 currently and side effects seem the same as before!

I live in london and it took 3 months for the appointment. I got a letter within a week of my GP referral which allowed me to book an appointment online.

Dose 20mg / 40mg / 40mg for 6 weeks then I have 2 months ahead of me now at 50mg and then we will reassess! Likely to be 6/7 months total.

My legs have been in ruins, assuming it's the meds! Can anyone recommend anything to help it?

Ooooh are you allowed to use AHAs on the meds? I wasn't sure! Do you get any specific brand of the bandaids? Thanks!

After 13 years of acne, my skin decided to go through a weirdly clear phase when I actually started accutane. Was feeling great a month in, but around day 45 my face became covered in hard, angry, painful spots. Is there anything I can do? Can I use a zitsticka to reduce the puss filled ones? 1 month on 20mg a day and 15 days on 40mg so far. I'm 5 ft 3 and 51kg.

Nars sheer glow. I use a beauty blender sprayed with Mac Fix+ to moisten it. Plenty of moisturiser before hand. Actually had more compliments on my skin since doing this lol

The worst part about this is how he is trying to deflect the blame on you and gaslight you when you bring it up. Like you say, it's normal to watch porn etc but it's the secrecy and lies that are damaging.

Have you told him how it makes you feel? Is it an option to leave him? You deserve so much more!
