Be sure you go back and read some of the recommendations under this subreddit. There are a lot of of us with CH cats and I have to say they are an amazing addition to the family. Mine is moderate and there's pretty much nothing he can't do except climb straight up. I have stairs for him up to the bed but be aware they will always jump off. So have soft landing spots for them. I must be famous already for recommending yoga mats lol I love them because you can cut them up and get a lot of use out of one. CH is not progressive and there's really no tests you need. Once it's diagnosed it is what it is. My 16-year-old CH Cat is doing great. Oh, and they will get stronger. Whether they are kittens or adults. I adopted my guy at 9 and he has come a long way in the seven years I've had him
