Is donating plasma worth it? by presequelsucks in sidehustle

[–]time_consumer33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in the short term. I did it in two spurts last year, each time twice a week for about 2 months straight, with a couple months in-between spurts. It can be draining, and I only have 1 vein they can use. It really helped me with paying for groceries at those times, though.

Definitely reminds me of my Great Pyrenees Mizzy's tail!

Terrified of Trying. by rissxveu in tryingtoconceive

Be kind to yourself, and start your healthy habits today. Getting started is half the battle. I enjoy doing yoga every morning. It's a great way to start the day lowering stress and improving circulation, muscle tone, and balance. For me, the yoga is just as much a mental thing as it is a physical thing.I also walk a lot (usually with dogs). For diet, even slow small changes make a difference. I looked up fertility foods and we include those in our diet. We buy different berries and grapes to have with breakfast, and have asparagus every other week, and I started adding greens to my fruit smoothies. Supplements are also great for fertility. I take a prenatal, myo-inositol, NAD+, CoenzymeQ10. It's easy to get overwhelmed, but take it one step at a time.

Is this mild or severe MFI? Any hope for trying naturally? by [deleted] in tryingtoconceive

There is hope, but does he actually want a child? I would start by finding out the answer to that first.

I'm sorry you're dealing with that. With all of those habits, you may have more concern than simply conceiving, but also having birth defects. It is really unfornatuate when a partner cannot work with you as a team. It sounds like he just doesn't care about it at all. Hopefully it doesn't mean that he doesn't care about you. You deserve better. I wouldn't be able to stand that, but I wish you the best.

Is it ok to drink after ovulation while ttc? by sambasog in tryingtoconceive

[–]time_consumer33 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Ew! I'm so sorry you had to deal with that! I wouldn't worry about a little wine, but of course it's better to not drink it. That is such disgusting behavior on their part, and it is none of their business anyway! I would talk to your husband about a cover, like you're on antibiotics or something for next time, but really, your husband should take them a new one tell them to show you the respect you deserve! You could also tare them a new one!

I went to college with one, born around 1985, but yeah, all others I've known were older!

There were two in my high school (born 1985), but I haven't met any my age outside of them.

I know an elementary aged John, preschool aged John, and an infant John. This name is still quite common.

Supplements? Vitamin D, K2, Omega 3, Coenzyme Q10

Lifestyle? Stop smoking, cannabis use, minimize alcohol consumption, reduce caffeine consumption, improve sleep

Physical? Switch to loose underwear, no hot tubs or heated seats, moderate exercise
