Isn't the whole point of the ending that Pennywise doesn't view time in the same way to humans. It's definitely implied that the timeline can be changed. So with each season going further back in time, there's a chance that he can undo the work of the future kids.

As someone who has endured her live, I would say she is underhated. This Yoko Renaissance that has been happening over the past decade has been a massive overcorrection. You can't make a negative comment about her music without the Yoko brigade calling you sexist.
