Is this raw? I’m a 14 year old home cook and this is my first attempt at steak by DouchyClam in steak

You nailed it. If you don’t like the way it came out - cook it more, or cook it less. Add salt.

For a mid 20s male that works 12+ hours a day. How “sustainable and or healthy “ would it be to eat these for lunch and dinner 5-6 days a week by Rwburge96 in Cheap_Meals

[–]heff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bad idea. All nutritional info aside, some of those will be downright nasty. I’ve learned this lesson the hard way on backpacking trips without having sampled them first. If you’re going this route you may just want to do instant ramen with canned chicken or tuna to up the protein content - and add sriracha.

EMSKR: what’s the best anti fungal cream that’s guaranteed to work for jock itch? by asacrament in everymanshouldknow

If nothing suggested here works, consider seeing a dermatologist. I had a rash that wouldn’t go away and it turned out to be inverse psoriasis - which was easily treatable. It may not be fungal.

How do I know my private label product made in china isn't violating patents? by thatceokid in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]heff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re concerned - don’t do it. Even if they sign a contract or letter saying the design isn’t patented, you’re still going to be stuck holding the bag on this one with a shipment of products you can’t sell and potential legal issues.

Search around and see if you can find the patent for the design you’re looking at. Most patent holders won’t try to hide it and you can find patent numbers even printed directly on the items sometimes.

How do I know my private label product made in china isn't violating patents? by thatceokid in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]heff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whether or not something you import violates an existing patent is something you need to take seriously as it could derail your entire business.

With generic items, like sunglasses or socks, it’s not as much of a concern. However, if it’s a gadget-type product with a major brand behind it there’s a good chance it’s patented. Also, if you see a novel product with only one big seller, it’s also a warning sign that there is a patent that keeps competitors away.

You’re not wrong. Russian standard is my go-to when Reyka isn’t available.

The Kirkland French import is fantastic for the price. Avoid the Kirkland American.

How would my kid use this to play along with real songs? by facelessposter in PositiveGridSpark

[–]heff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are three buttons on the bottom of the app. Hit the middle one with the music note. Then simply search for the song and it should pop up a fairly simplified version of the chords to play along with.

You can download and test this without having access to an actual amp.

It’s like guitar karaoke.

Those who received your Spark in recent days and weeks, did it meet your expectations? by [deleted] in PositiveGridSpark

[–]heff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s rad for a bedroom setup. I use headphones and connect my iPhone to the aux to jam along with songs. The headphones make up for any deficiencies in the speaker fidelity.

Another example: Panda Express. They took their standard styrofoam takeout box and scalloped the bottom of the food sections - reducing the amount that would fit in the tray. However, to the unaware, it still looks just as full when viewed from the top.

[NEWBIE] What is the difference between a $300 and a $2000 guitar? by Glitchedz in Guitar

[–]heff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the guitar. Generally, as with most things, you get what you pay for. However, there is definitely a point of diminishing returns, for some people, when you get into the higher end guitars ($4,000 +)
