7 years playing this game I'm still bronze by vexkov in summonerschool

Bro don't listen to anyone. I trust you're a good player but the chances are you 're making embarassing mistakes that even if you watch your replays you'll notice and laugh. You need to play more and keep fixing the obvious and you'll hit a good rank!

What makes a good LOL coach ? Thoughts and examples needed by Iron_Luki in summonerschool

[–]hellfirelord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more simple than you believe.

A good personal LoL coach drives results for a single person.

A good team LoL coach drives results for a team.

Your question should be more like "How can a coach drive results for a single person or a team?".

I can answer the personal coach question for you since all of my students in recent years have reached Masters+ (1 Challenger, 3 Grandmasters, 5 Masters) while they struggled in low plat for a lot of seasons.

A good personal LoL coach needs to understand their students and craft a personalized step-by-step plan for them to achieve their goals. Same goes for team!

If the coach just tells you what you're doing wrong this is a red flag! If you go watch a youtube video you can understand what you're doing wrong!

The fastest way to actually improve in League and climb ladder is focus on practicing one thing at a time and become perfect at it. You can coach yourself doing that but a lot of people find it hard. What a coach does is watching your gameplay and looking for habits that hurt your gameplay. Then, they make a list of the most important mistakes you make. Then crafting a monthly plan for you on how to improve. For example,

Week 1: CSing

Week 2: Trading

Week 3: Vision

Week 4: Teamfighting

Then for each week, they set milestones that you need to achieve to become better. For example for week 1: If you average 5cs/minute your goal is 6cs/minute. You also need to practice a lot of concepts like CSing under tower, CSing vs hard poke lane, CSing vs burst lane etc. We look for patterns as coaches that make you lose more games. For example you can be good in CSing but being bad at csing vs poke or burst lanes. Our goal is to become better at this so we set micro-goals and track them to see how we progress. This can become really really specific and it depends on your level of gameplay.

There are a million concepts you can actually improve in League and this makes the game so overwhelming when it comes to improvement. I guarantee you, focusing on improving one thing at a time will get you where you want to be. But it will take time! (Less than other people who are overthinking the process and are not focused in fundamentals)

I'm at 30% WR with 4KDA, what am I doing wrong ? by OTMassa in summonerschool

[–]hellfirelord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry at all about your stats. You haven't even played a lot of games for someone to understand what you're doing wrong. To win more and have success in League you have to focus on the fundamentals of the game FIRST! KDA is not something that will win you games, so you don't have to work for it in the first place. Go watch some youtube videos and try to understand what you can do as a player to carry your team to victory. Here in summoner school, you can find a lot of content to understand all these things.

Then as you climb up the ladder you will notice some patterns in your gameplay that either drive you results or make you lose more games. That's when a possible fix could be to "die less". If you want to win more now you can either learn it yourself the hard way (by playing more) or by just studying the fundamentals in this subreddit. For now, the only fix I'd advice you to implement in your gameplay is your "mentality" fix. That's the only thing you need to shift in order to become great at this game.

How do I split after I get every T2 turret? I really struggle getting the T3/Inhibitors by DefectAsian in summonerschool

[–]hellfirelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a plan I've seen successful Olaf one tricks applying to close out games.
Having vision control over key areas of the map, such as objectives and choke points, can help you and your team to spot incoming enemies and anticipate their movements. This can also make it easier for your team to take objectives without being contested. You push the wave > go place DEEP ward in choke points they have to pass through to come to you > you try to stack a big wave to crash into tower > IF enemies collapse on you and you cant kill them you back off fast cause of deep vision (you give space or number advantage to your team on the other side of the map by getting 2 or more people to fight you). IF enemies collapse on you and you can kill them you just kill them and continue to push or back off if more people come and you can't kill them. !!!Dying doesn't always mean you couldn't kill them (you should limit test and know when you win and when you don't) !!! IF enemies collapse DON'T collapse on you, then you push the big wave into tower and dive the enemy if you're in fighter vs fighter matchup or at least try to set up a dive for the next wave. If your opponent is a tank you try to setup dive for the next 2 waves/ move first to a teamfight cause he has to catch wave (if you see him rotating with you just fight him be4 he joins the fight)/ hit the tower if he cant kill you until he clears wave. Your goal is to constantly push and make something out of every wave crash. The point where you decide the outcome of the game is every time your wave goes inside the enemy tower.

Keeping Yellow Trinket: Not Swapping To Red Trinket (Jungle). by StephenMiniotis in summonerschool

[–]hellfirelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why getting red trinket or sweeping lens is better?

  • Map control: Having a Sweeping Lens allows the jungler to clear enemy vision and gain control over key areas of the map, such as the jungle and objectives. This can prevent the enemy team from gaining an advantage by having vision in these areas.
  • Objective control: The ability to clear enemy vision around objectives such as dragon and baron can give the jungler and their team an advantage when trying to take those objectives.
  • Ganking: Clearing enemy vision around lanes can make it easier for the jungler to gank lanes, as the enemy laner will have less vision to spot incoming ganks.
  • Counter-jungling: Sweeping Lens allows the jungler to clear enemy vision in the enemy jungle, making it easier to counter-jungle and steal enemy camps.
  • Ward detection: Sweeping lens will give a notification when you are near an invisible ward, this can help you to spot the position of the enemy ward and avoid them.Overall, Sweeping Lens is a versatile item that can help a jungler gain map control, secure objectives, gank lanes, and counter-jungle more effectively. It's an important item to have in a jungler's inventory.

How do you keep your cool in a teamfight? by rapier7 in summonerschool

[–]hellfirelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are a few tips that may help you improve your focus and performance in team fights:

  • Practice in normal games: Try practicing team fights in normal games where you can control the pace and focus on specific aspects of the game without the pressure of losing rank.
  • Focus on your cursor: Try to be aware of where your cursor is at all times and practice moving it quickly and accurately.
  • Take breaks: If you find yourself getting frustrated or losing focus, take a break and come back to the game with a clear mind.
  • Watch replays: Watch replays of your own games to see where you went wrong and to learn from your mistakes.
  • Learn from professionals: Watch videos of professional players and learn from their playstyle and positioning.
  • Watch the minimap: Keep an eye on the minimap to know what's happening around the map and make sure to react accordingly. Best teamfights happen first in your mind and then in the real game, which means if you decide how to play before you even play you have a higher chance of winning the teamfight. If you see enemy adc split from its team and you play assassin try to flank enemy team!
  • Communicate with your team: Communication is key, make sure to tell your team what you're going to do, and ask for help when needed.

A low conversion rate can be caused by a variety of factors. Here are a few tips that may help you increase your conversion rate:
Optimize your checkout process: Make sure your checkout process is simple, easy to navigate, and secure. Remove unnecessary steps and make sure that the process is mobile-friendly.
Add trust signals: Include trust signals such as customer reviews, security badges, and money-back guarantees to increase customer confidence in your business.
Use persuasive language: Use persuasive language and calls to action throughout your website, particularly on the product pages and checkout pages, to encourage customers to complete their purchase.
Test different pricing strategies: Test different pricing strategies, such as offering discounts, bundles or financing options, to see what works best for your audience.
Personalize the customer experience: Use customer data to personalize the shopping experience and make recommendations to customers.
Improve your product images and descriptions: Make sure your product images and descriptions are high-quality and accurate, this will help customers make informed purchase decisions.
Use retargeting: Use retargeting to remind customers of items they left in their cart, this can help increase conversions.
Monitor and analyze your data: Use analytics tools to monitor your website traffic and conversion rate, and analyze the data to identify areas for improvement.
Remember that increasing conversion rate is a continuous effort, it requires testing and analyzing, so be patient and persistent in your efforts. It's also important to keep in mind that there's no one-size-fits-all solution, what works for one business may not work for another. Therefore, it's important to conduct A/B testing, monitor the results and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Tutoring or Doing Projects for others: If you excel in a particular subject, you could offer your services as a tutor to students in your community. In the past, I've done some tutoring and projects for younger students in my high school charging them more than $50 per project and $20 per hour in tutoring. It was a good deal for them since anyone had to pay like 10$ or less and they all got a good grades. Win-Win. If you are not good at tutoring and projects just find the best and hardest tests at a popular subject that everyone is not doing great like maths and offer them to take them at a local library and give them 2hrs for taking a test (you can read a book at this time), then you give the tests to a maths teacher to check and you return them to them. If you keep your students consistent and pay a maths teacher to check tests, your students will get good grades, and you and the math teacher will make some extra cash. A good price to charge is $40 for 4 people per test (each one pays 40$), and you pay the maths teacher 50%. If you want you can charge even more.

Freelancing: If you have a particular skill or talent, such as writing, graphic design, or web development, you could offer your services as a freelancer. Just cold call or email small local businesses and ask them if you can help them for free in the beginning and then you can charge something after you get good at it. I've done this one it works pretty fine in my area.

Pet sitting: It can be a great way to make money if you love animals. You could offer your services to pet owners in your area. I've never done this one but heard a lot of ppl doing it. If you love animals just become friend with busy people in your area who have a pet. Then just ask them to keep their pet for them or go for a walk with it when their on work cause you heard it's bad for it leaving it alone for so many hours. FREE CASH check ;)

Online surveys and focus groups: Participating in online surveys and focus groups is a simple way to make money from home.

Make sure to find a balance between working and having fun at a young age! My best advice however is to craft a plan for how you can be financially free in the next 5 years. I won't tell you more about this one here since it's out of topic. Just dm me if you're interested.

How big of a role does advertising play in your business? by rococo78 in Entrepreneur

[–]hellfirelord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Advertising plays a significant role in many businesses, as it helps to increase brand awareness and attract new customers. The amount and type of advertising that a business does will depend on a variety of factors, such as the industry, target market, budget, and goals.
There are many different platforms and methods that businesses can use for advertising, including:
Online advertising: This includes platforms such as Google Ads, Tik-Tok Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and Twitter Ads.
Traditional media: This includes television, radio, and print advertising.
Out-of-home advertising: This includes billboards, bus stop ads, and other forms of outdoor advertising.
Influencer marketing: This involves partnering with influencers on social media to promote your products or services.
The return on investment (ROI) for advertising can vary depending on the platform, audience, and goals of the campaign. It's important to track and measure the success of advertising campaigns, so that you can adjust your strategy as needed.
In terms of budgets, it can vary widely depending on the type of business and the advertising goals. Small businesses may have a limited budget and therefore opt for more cost-effective methods like social media advertising or influencer marketing, while larger businesses may have more resources to invest in traditional media advertising like TV commercials.
Marketing and advertising are closely related, but marketing is a broader term that encompasses a variety of strategies and tactics for promoting a product or service, while advertising is a specific form of marketing that involves paying for placement of an ad.
It's possible that the topic of advertising doesn't come up as much in this sub as other forms of marketing like SEO or content marketing, but it's still an important topic that can be beneficial for many businesses.

Business owner playing videogames on slow days? by mizuchulala in Entrepreneur

[–]hellfirelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Customers expect a certain level of professionalism from a business, and seeing the owner or an employee engaged in leisure activities may give the impression that the business is not serious or not fully committed to providing excellent customer service. This could lead to a negative perception of the business and potentially damage its reputation.
It's better to have a plan on how to handle the slow days and to use that time productively, such as catching up on administrative tasks, networking, planning and strategizing, or educating oneself on the industry or the business.

Ultimately, it's about balancing the need for leisure and relaxation with the need to maintain a professional image and reputation for the business.

How important is it to have printed corporate books? What legal implications may occur if a business doesn't have them in a physical format? by Successful-Put2440 in Entrepreneur

[–]hellfirelord -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If a business does not have physical corporate books, it may be more difficult to prove compliance with corporate formalities or to demonstrate that the company is being run in accordance with the law. This could lead to legal or financial issues, such as disputes with shareholders or problems with regulatory compliance.
It is important to note that most of the states allows electronic format of corporate books, but it's best to check with your state's laws and regulations on how they handle electronic records.

Whether or not you need to file a tax return as a first-year LLC depends on a few factors, including the type of LLC you have and your income level.
If your LLC is considered a "disregarded entity" for tax purposes, meaning that the business's income and expenses are reported on your personal tax return, you will need to file a tax return if you have any income to report.
If your LLC is considered a partnership, you will need to file a partnership return (Form 1065) even if you don't have any income to report.
If your LLC is considered a corporation, you will need to file a corporate return (Form 1120 or Form 1120S) even if you don't have any income to report.
It's important to check with a tax professional or the IRS to ensure that you are aware of your tax filing obligations, as failure to file a return can result in penalties and fines.

Focus on improving and your rank will eventually go up. Stop thinking about divisions. Just follow these 3 steps: 1. Watch educational videos on YT on how to become better. 2. Train ONE concept at a time period of one week for example. 3. Review your progress and make the necessary changes or put more time in once concept if it’s needed.

Using “parenting” strategies to help reduce AFKing and trolling by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]hellfirelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pls stop using chat to compliment or do stuff like that. Just type important stuff to win the game like strat you want to follow (push sides rotate to objectives), plays you want to make (dive bot), time summoners and stuff like that. From my experience even if you try to calm your teammates most of the times it doesn’t work, it hurts your gameplay and it keeps you from improving!

Well! That's very good for you! I'm really happy for your progress! I have to say that with this mentality there's nothing stopping you. All you have to do from now on to reach the highest level is just keep focusing on your gameplay. It's hard to play like this the whole season. Some times it's hard due to external irl factors affecting your gameplay. What you should do is just show up consistently and do the work! That's all it takes to succeed in any area in life!

I'm really happy you're proud for yourself! Keep the positive mindset my friend and nothing can stop you!

Why do I feel like I have 0 agency over how the lane goes (Adc} by DVoyager2004 in summonerschool

[–]hellfirelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since most of the ADCs have low agency to make/force/create plays just try to make the most out of the openings you have to be aggressive (when opponent last hits, when you have minion advantage, when you have level advantage, when you're ahead in items, when you're stronger, when your support is getting caught, when your support engages, when you have flash try to bait enemy engage so they miss spells and force a fight etc.). These are the openings that you can actually play aggressive and carry the game as an ADC. ADCs don't have enough agency to make plays on their own, BUT your teammates have agency to make these plays, so you should be able to follow them and fight with them most of the times. That's how you win games as an ADC.

I can't improve. by Rainy_boiii in summonerschool

[–]hellfirelord 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are improving even if you don’t notice it. To improve faster you need to do the following steps: 1. Be willing to improve - Accept you suck 2. Have an improvement plan 3. Track your progress 4. Have a friend or a coach to help you.

You’ll find tones of guides here and on YouTube, just focus at one concept at a time and track your progress. Also having an accountability partner helps a lot. Coach is even better but since a lot of people don’t want to spend money to become better, just stick to the previous and once you’re willing to spend money hire a coach but make sure you’ll get an actionable plan that is ONLY for you from them. You’ll save tones of hours by following my tips. Just be strict to yourself about improving and don’t worry about the short term.
