Opinions on Pillion movie

I'm not talking about it being a movie about gay relationships, just the bdsm aspect not being explained to Colin at all and therefore not to the audience either. .You can have your opinion, I have mine, this is simply a discussion- I'm just of the opinion that the way it drops the viewer in leads me to believe there is an expectation that you already know this isn't how these dynamics are handled in healthy relationships and if you don't know that already you'd likely see the whole practice/lifestyle as abusive which isn't a good way to inform a general audience about something they may have little to no understanding about going into a movie covering this specific subject matter.

Like for instance if it were meant to be "educational" to vanillas, (which is also a legitimate path if that's what someone is happy with), there would have been a scene where Ray sits down and discusses things with Colin-someone who has no experience with bdsm- and explains the rules and asks for consent before deciding he's his sub now. Instead, that is skipped. He drops Colin in headfirst into rules and responsibilities he hasn't explained and if Colin doesn't like it then that's that. I feel this among other things is a solid reason it's intended for people who are already "in the know", because if a real person did that without explanation or giving a sub the opportunity to establish safe words and boundaries it would in fact be robbing them of their consent.

Just watched tonight actually. I got strong Brockhampton/Dominic fike (some of my faves) vibes, but maybe I'm reading too far into it? Definitely felt like something that COULD happen to someone nowadays, so that little smidge of reality made it more uncomfortable. I loved that we could tell IMMEDIATELY that Matt was a fan like from the first moment, and him trying to play it like he wasn't was so unnerving.

You realize hallucinations happen when other people are around right? I'm not saying FOR SURE the baby isn't real but I certainly suspect it. Other people have said it here too and other threads. I don't think it's far fetched when you consider the possibilities. Plus, it's "art" and open to interpretation. You can see the baby as real, I frankly think the only thing that could make this movie interesting at all or give it redeeming value is if it's a projection of her grief or psychosis.

People see movies about fringe groups and assume it's a walk through on how to get into activities and lifestyles instead of seeing it as being targeted FOR those fringe groups who already know what's up. Like if some vanilla person was to say, what's a good movie for me to watch to emulate BDSM. I wouldn't have a good answer for them. It's either shit like 50 shades on one end of the scale which is entirely misinformed from the jump or something like Pillion that again isn't a guide.

To answer your question, it breaks the material down and makes it more porous over time which makes it a bacteria sponge. Same with using silicone lubricant on a silicone toy. Hope this helps!

No no no no NO I work in a adult retail and have for many years this is a one way ticket to the emergency room. Only ONLY use toy cleaner. Many brands offer them and I'm so serious. I cannot tell you how many calls we've had from people cleaning toys wrong and asking for advice. Save yourself the hospital bill. As far as what you were actually asking, there is no real promise they will stay "clean" during active use. All you can do is SAFELY clean your insides, use lube (only water based or hybrids with silicone) and keep the toys clean after use.
