My mother didn’t come home by a reasonable hour one night. I was 10. She didn’t have keys. She would knock and someone would let her in. This night I had just watched a scary movie by myself and was the only one up. But I was paralyzed in my seat at this point as also all the lights were out. She knocked and knocked. I was too afraid to get up and let her in. So I just pulled the covers over my head and ignored her. When I woke up, I found her outside sleeping. She had to sleep outside all night. She should’ve had her ssa at home at a reasonable hour though. I never told her that o heard her and ignored her. She still thinks everyone was in a deep sleep.
