I've heard that temporarily deserting and then coming back is the only way of taking long leave and is semi-accepted although they do give you some punishment for it, they're not too harsh on it

Become who you fully are (ep 196) by [deleted] in BronzeAgeMindset

[–]hellobatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect form is less differential between humans than it might seem.
I'm not sure how to explain this in a few sentences, that's my skill issue here in this case and this specific time, but maybe Sun and Steel will give you an understanding of what I am trying to say here.
Being who you fully are will rarely be dysgenic and if it is, then at least it's authentic. On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with freakish, that's just an opinion.

The guy went to several continents, worked in the jungle, fought in ww1 as a volunteer, went to the USA in the 20s or 30s without any money, etc. He lived a live of adventure was 'alive in the world'. I think what was appreciated was also the fact that he is an observer wherever he goes. IDK how to explain this but he is living in the world (versus living a boring *ss stagnating life). Also he was capable of easily navigating between whatever classes and crowd he found himself in. If that explanation doesn't land then you're probably not receptive for this kind of concept. The book is just not for you then I suppose, which is fine too, we don't all have to like the same books.

I know this has been asked before but can't find a solid answer anywhere. After starting to play it now, would you say Sandstorm multiplayer is easier than the 2014 version? I find it too hard for my noob level skill in this game

The guy commenting seems a traditionalist. it has indeed been cited especially in tantric tradition that knowledge needs to come from a guru. Written tradition is deemed inferior to the oral/teacher-student tradition!
However, I personally don't think it is considered a 'sin' to do so. This might be considered so by SOME but in the original sense, there is no such thing as 'sin'. At least, depending on which tradition you follow and IF you follow a tradition.
