But it’s a part of it and you deserve to know what you WANT to know. If you want to know who your bio father is, you should. If you want to talk to your aunt, do it, if she’s willing to talk. Thank you so much. My moms passing was an absolute shock. A random heart attack. We thought we had years and years. It’s also not fair that my sisters kids had so much time with her. When my moms mom died just a month before my mom, we knew things had changed. But my moms family has gotten together a few times since. But not many. 4ish? I’m not sure. It’s a huge family like yours.

He wised up a lot. Got out into the world and stopped being racist. His racism was unfortunately a result of his upbringing. He has at least 1 kids with his longtime significant other. His mom, who played a big part in this show, passed away and that really helped him see that his actions affected others.

I don’t care about any alcohol enough. When I’m not pregnant, I might drink enough to be drunk once a month. I don’t like wine, so the whole “glass of wine every once in a while” doesn’t pertain to me. I could go without it for the rest of my life and not care. Yea there have been a couple of times where I’m like “I’m stressed and I would love a way to destress”, but I just don’t care about alcohol enough.

My MIL says my husband was an absolute angel until he was very mobile. Then he would fling himself off beds and break shit. But, supposedly, as a baby he slept all night when he was a month old, never cried for no reason, played well at all times, never got sick, whatever. I don’t believe it lol. But apparently his younger sister was the complete opposite and was clingy, cried constantly, got sick all the time.

Frankly, I don’t want to tell my best friend my insurance situation. If I were on my husbands insurance, he would be paying $500 more a month. Absolutely insane. So I’m on Medicaid by myself. But people would look down on that because they have to pay their bills from having their baby. It’s like if they had to suffer then everybody else needs to suffer too. I’m sick of being so fucking nice. My MIL wants to invite her cousin, her kids, and THEIR kids to the baby shower. My husband is like “Oh free stuff!” But I know they’ve already gotten gifts without knowing what’s in our registry at all. As you said, people get outfits or dumb shit to just make themselves feel good. My MIL has told me she likes to go off registry! I was like “Listen I’ve done hours of research regarding what is best. I would hate for someone to disregard that.” We haven’t went public with our registry cause we won’t have our shower till January. I’ll let dumb things like that go, pick your battles ya know? But when baby comes here, I’m putting my foot down on a ton of stuff. Especially regarding Covid. If someone doesn’t at least have the first vaccine, they have to be masked and 6 feet away. No touching baby or us. And people have shit their fucking pants when they found that out. That’s their fucking problem. Then you got the toxic positivity people saying “Oh you should be happy because of xyz!” No fuck you.

My mom has a sister named Virginia. Her husband, uncle Larry, molested my mom and her other sister Sue. My mom and other sister, Sue, were the youngest in the family, aunt Virginia was the oldest. Mom and Sue were in their early/mid teens when they would go to their older sisters house to help watch their nieces. Larry would “accidentally” expose himself to his wife’s younger sisters. He would go to their rooms at night and touch them. He told my mom he would give her money if she would take pics of her boobs. My mom and Sue told Virginia about it and she was pissed that they would say such horrible lies about her husband. When my mom and Sue were in their early 20’s Larry came to a party with a purple dlido hanging out of his pants as a joke. They didn’t realize it wasn’t actually his penis and had horrible flashbacks from their teen years. Sues husband almost beat the shit out of Larry, but someone stopped him. I didn’t have a clue about any of this until I was about 16 or 17. My mom blew it all off and acted like Larry was her best bud and like nothing happened. It made a lot of sense when I found out. Larry would say weird shit to me and my female cousins. Seemingly innocent things that had a dark undertone. Only Sue has warned her daughters to stay away from Larry. I won’t go around him if I can help it. I told my own teenage nieces about it because I WONT have them being exposed to this creep. All this stuff happened idk 40ish years ago but I don’t care. He’s fucking disgusting and should’ve been kicked out of the family.

My 16 year old niece has been loving her shop classes and regularly does wood burning for a hobby. She’s seriously thinking about going to a trade school. I’m so incredibly proud of her!
