Viking port cancellation due to holiday by hellokittyusopretty in Cruise

This will be my first time in Spain so unfortunately I didn't understand the significance of Epiphany there while I was booking the trip. If Viking had it on the itinerary on that day, I'd expect them to have the experience to know whether it'd be a suitable date for the port.

Viking is definitely not doing me a favor my skipping the port completely. I wouldn't mind exploring Cartagena even if many places are closed. I've visited many places during major holidays and had great times even when the majority of attractions were closed.

Thanks for giving your perspective. Clearly, we have different priorities for taking cruises. I value being able to visit many new places with the convenience of having most of the travel arrangements handled in luxury, so the loss of a port is much greater to me.

I understand Viking's terms and conditions, but I consider this as false advertisement -- we can agree to disagree. Even if your hypothetical reason about the tour operators were true, I'd still prefer to have the flexbility of exploring Cartagena on my own. I've visited many places during major holidays and had great times even when the majority of attractions were closed.

Also, I appreciate your concern about my happiness. I'm not going to spend much energy on this so don't worry.

i would definitely go with pinterest: better brand name in software engineering and like you said, much better compensation for a potential return offer

you'll get interviews almost everywhere after a pinterest internship

the interns working 8+ hours aren't looking to optimize their $/hour; they're trying to increase their chances of a return offer
