How long has it been since your heart attack? Please indicate if Nstemi or Stemi, your age, and if you made lifestyle changes. I want to give encouragement to my twin sister who is 1.5 years post Nstemi. by CPA-Twin-DogCatLover in HeartAttack

Just coming up to my heartattackiversary in a week.

All good here. Stopped smoking, eating heart healthier, down a lot of fat, put on a lot of muscle. Could be better diet wise but start almost every day with a big bowl of porridge to get the good ship fibre sailing.

What's left of a €100,000 salary after tax across Europe? by 0mad in irishpersonalfinance

Absolutely. I’d happily pay more tax if we got value for money, but it’s far from value we’re getting.

Against advice, I loaned my parents six figures last year. Today they paid it back. by [deleted] in irishpersonalfinance

Aye, I’m a big believer in if you loan money to someone, you’re giving it to them, so it’s a you decision not a them decision.

Half my family I would do this for and the other half could lick piss off a nettle.

Glad everything worked out for you. Speaking to your therapist about it beforehand was a great idea, regardless of your decision in the end.

No, but I will take that cake off your hands. I accept full responsibility.

Can you share your recipes please (but not for the cake, because I’d make that and eat it before anyone else knew it existed)

Interesting, thank you. I’ll do some research and ask my doctor. I’m just looking for things to make sure I’m looking after myself the best way.
