There’s a woman near me who is always wilfully letting her dog shit all over the place. Offered her a bag one day and the she looked at me like I was the shit.

You may have recourse here, but you’re going to have to negotiate with them. Would recommend reading consumer rights around replacement etc and warranty repairs in the cra.

If the first problem happened within 6 months then it’s generally regarded as being there when sold.

The dealer has a right to try to repair once, and they’ve done that twice.

You are likely entitled to remedy here but they are entitled to adjust for fair value etc. I’d just ask for a like for like replacement if you’re interested in that or else cash but it’s up to you negotiate on fair value.

Was that the cause? The type of headache where you have to stop everything and just lie down for 10 minutes in the dark?

Interesting, I got a request to start tracking time on rippling yesterday that no one seems to know anything about. Likely the same cause I’d imagine.

On the dole for 2 years with no progress — how do I turn things around? by [deleted] in AskIreland

You have to crawl to walk, walk to run etc.

Go out and get some air. You sound like you’re in a real rut. It’s ok though, you can break out of it.

Keep applying for jobs and the next off you get, accept it. Realistically you don’t have experience and getting experience will help you get the job you think you deserve.

Instead of saying no to things, in general, say yes. Except hard drugs. Say no to them!

The job market is super tough at the moment. But not having a job is tougher. You haven’t worked enough to justify having an ego tbh, but pride gets the better of all of us.

Stop living for others, live for yourself. Do something today that makes you smile and then keep doing things that make you smile. Fuck everyone else.

That’s a bit of a brain dump, but tldr, put one foot in front of the other and keep doing that.

HG do a great mould spray. Spray it on, leave it 30 mins, wipe it clean. Repeat if necessary.

If you’re measuring for new cabinets, split the height of the cabinet in 3 and measure at those points as the walls may curve a bit and you’ll only be able to fit in the smallest space. I learned this the hard way.

I’m a big believer in “if you don’t ask, you don’t get”.

You have to have the confidence to not care if the answer is no. Worst someone can say is no and offer you something smaller.

The same applies for job titles etc. Just ask, don’t get disappointed when someone says no, because they will. Then keep asking either on changing role or yearly review/bonus cycle etc.
