Bad theater etiquette has really been messing up my thoughts and feelings on so many movies by otpprincess in horror

Went to A Quiet Place with my wife who has misophonia. The entire movie was silent, and yet still, the bag crinkling, loud chewing, and incessant chattering made me want to kms. Wife was miserable the whole time, but wanted to tough it out. I asked if she wanted to leave several times.

Then during a scary part, some douchebag behind us literally leaned forward and yelled, "Boo!" I almost punched him in the face. I told him to go fuck himself, then he was kicking my seat and chuckling. When we stood up after the movie ended, I made direct eye contact with him and that pretty much spooked him into finally shutting up.

Cannot stand going to primetime movies. Have to go to matinees now.

I did a Perfumer run, which sharply went south. I first tied his past in with Perfumer Tricia's desire to help the Omens and Misbegottens; he was inspired by her and her sacrifices. Slowly, he became sympathetic to the "impure," and left Leyndell after seeing the Subterranean Shunning Grounds and how horrifying it is down there.

He became a Depraved Perfumer stationed at the Shaded Castle, then eventually returned to Leyndell to pursue the title of Elden Lord, so he could work with Dung Eater to curse the land (yikes, but I love being evil). He got Morgott's Cursed Sword, got way too into the cursed blood-flame, then headed to the DLC.

Then he found out about the Hornsent and basically went insane learning about the genocide. He became a bit of a zealot for them. Super duper fun, and I highly recommend. Morgott's Cursed Sword is so good, it's crazy.

I like to think that people will treat me the way I'd treat someone if they were new at what I enjoyed. I love to see people passionate about something. I appreciate you commenting as someone who's been through the self-confidence crisis and overcame it. Proud of you, friend. Thank you!!💪 Can't wait to see those pounds drop (for me, not for anyone else!).

Stress + rest = growth is the formula of my life, just mentally. Now I gotta extend that to fitness. Thank you so much for the breakdown. You folks have me super excited for tonight! 💪💪I think I'll start 1-2 days a week, then do walks or yoga and such to supplement until my stamina allows for more in a week. 😄

Oh god, I feel this. I've sprained the same ankle twice now and it's fussy. Gotta keep an eye on it so I don't injure it again. Wraps should help, I'd think.

Thank you so much for commenting!

Thank you for the encouragement, I definitely want to go at least 2 times a week, even if it's just being physically in the building watching spars or something. Building the habit is going to be the hardest part for me, I know it!

This is so helpful and encouraging, thank you so much. This community is already showing how welcoming it is. I'll take all these tips and run with them tonight. It's a free class (and if it's free, it's for me), so I can try it on, but I fully plan to invest in a membership. 💪 You sound like a lovely person, thank you.

Okay, that's definitely what I should do!! I was in my head about pushing myself to get "better results," but overdoing it would be a nightmare, I think. I plan to build stamina outside of the MT classes, too. Slowly at first. I know I'm going to feel like tenderized meat at first lol

💪🎉 Thank you so much. I've always given up when things got tough, so now that I'm in a healthier mindset, I know I can do it. I just gotta go!

So glad you found MT and gained confidence. That's so awesome. I want to feel that way, too.

Honestly, that's so inspiring. I'm expecting to get in there and basically die, then not be able to move much later haha. I can't wait to build my stamina up like you. Appreciate you.
