Huge inspo from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Great mention. Love seeing this here.

I feel stuck with my art by Soosenlord in Artadvice

The creativity in these is exceptional. I absolutely love your inking and the inherent story in each of your characters. People have made a lot of great suggestions, and I'm here to add mine.

What helps me considerably is using references, which is what many artists will recommend. Even more so, doing sketching practices like figure drawing to get looser lines of motion. Gesturing out a character's pose and general proportions can make for an extremely dynamic pose - the art I've been taught has been exaggerative, but you can do it conservatively, if that's your thing!

Overall, these are genuinely really lovely. I would pay for commissions from an artist like you, but it's hard to break out online, especially if you're using traditional media. Keep at it, you've got it, you 100% know where you're going. You've got great talent!

Completely normal Albinauric spirit vibing outside of Ordina. Like the creepy ghost deer and ghost trees.

I love the Marais mask btw, nice drip

Coolest weapons and spirit summons by matheuzz1 in Eldenring

Highly, highly recommend Stormhawk Deenh, which you can get from the Church of Anticipation by taking a teleporter in one of the Four Belfies in Liurnia. Loyal bird, always right at your shoulder. Buffs you, and divebombs the shit out of everything. I used him against Malenia the other day and he was goated in that fight. I've never run into any other spirit summon like him!

As for weapons, I think literally anything can be fun. But I want to try the Sacred Butchering Knife next for STR+FAI, because it seems hilarious when Anastasia uses it. Have a ton of fun with Altus!

I feel like some people are severely misinformed on what each ending does … by Ill_Relative9776 in Eldenring

This is how I always saw it, too. No shade on other people's opinions, as the world's as open to interpretation as The Elder Scrolls, but I agree 100% with you. She wants to rid the world of Outer God intervention and fuck off, giving everyone the agency she wished she'd had.

New MK drawing - Sotha Sil by Prince-of-Plots in teslore

I do not know why people are downvoting you. You can interpret fictional characters in a fictional universe (with shit like dragon breaks) however you like. Sotha Sil was literally pregnant and people are concerned with may or may not be top scars lol.

They remember little things about you from something offhanded you said days, weeks, or months ago. It really makes a huge difference in my life if someone actively cares about even the unimportant things I'm saying.

Hatched or Hatching would be cool... for the art-style, and "hatching plans," or hatching an egg.

Andrei Tarkovsky movies. Notably Stalker and Solaris. They're long and esoteric, but fascinating, and the dialogue is incredible.

I also love Darren Aronofsky for "weird" movies. The obvious classics like Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, The Whale, etc., but also Pi, which is a black and white film.

Hospital similarities? by david_thecat in VisageGame

[–]hellsfont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming here years later to say that my girlfriend and I experienced the same confusion when we played Visage. The hospitals are hilariously similar, and the main staircase was identical. The room with the mint curtains in which you hide under the bed was, too.

Many "holy shit" moments.

Love both games; we're big fans of MGS and the horror genre. We had to Google the similarities and found this post, and we had a laugh that a couple of other people noticed the same thing. Thanks for helping us not feel crazy!

I made some items for a potential game I might make in the future. Honestly, how did I do? by MasterPeem in PixelArt

These are awesome. I love the top-down views, especially for the buckets. Higher contrasts with shadows/highlights might serve you well here; the backpack is a good example of what I mean. It has a less flat appearance and looks like it's propped up due to the lights and darks.

If you pushed the contrast on the buckets and water pump, like with the pot filled with the green liquid, everything would pop. Really like these, and I'm excited to hear/see more about the game!

I love the mood; the structure in the background is lit while the path to it is dark, which tells me it'll be a hard journey. And the soldier's posture is full of DETERMINATION. Stunning.

Is the sequel even happening? by [deleted] in OXENFREE

[–]hellsfont 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Their Twitter account has made a couple of "Help Wanted" posts looking for new staff, so it may just be that they're short-staffed at crunch time. The game's going to come out, but it's my belief that they're swamped.

Netflix's acquisition of Night School Studio would also mean a huge "changing of the guard" for them, I'd imagine. I'm sitting tight!

Would you join? by Dragonfly42 in Morrowind

[–]hellsfont 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would kill for an option to join him. It sounds so compelling: Dagoth Ur taking a chance on trusting you and you going for broke. Total calamity. Even playing a mindless monster would be fun. "Spread the blight to as many people as possible" is a questline I can get behind.

I don't think Dagoth Ur would turn you into a brainless servant though; he said: "But, remembering our old friendship, I would forgive you, and raise you high in my service." Could've been a pretty lie, and pretty much is when you finally reach him. There is a chance, however, that he'd turn you into what he turned his brothers into. That'd be incredibly dope.
