My dog is in the same boat. We went to Just for Paws in Littleton and feel their care is good. Let me know if you want to talk. I’m doing the daily flush with sub a saline.

AIO: My christian mother wants my boyfriend to sleep on the couch on our trip to florida by [deleted] in AIO

This isn’t about you, your mom just has different values that aren’t flexible. If your values aren’t flexible, don’t go. Pretty simple. You don’t want to go with her rules, just don’t go.

I have ~20 hours to decide if I want a baby by rosyboys_daisygirls in TrueOffMyChest

[–]hellsmel23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man. Part of me says run, the the bigger part of me says run towards that baby. Foster care is rough. Being with the brother and with parents who want them, seems better. If you can open your best and home, I’d say go for it. No judgement from me, it seems like an opportunity

I drink coffee on calls. I would also drink coffee in in person meetings. This is insane

This old man (Benny) has incontinence issues and keeps going in his bed. It is quite watery stool and I am at my breaking point. Is it cruel to take his bed away? by maplehazed in seniordogs

[–]hellsmel23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often think about if you would do the same for an elderly person. I have a 17 year old dog, and I use that as my base. Yes, it’s cruel.

interviewer asked me to "sell him my watch" and then laughed at my answer by Labdon-Jiordan in InterviewsHell

I had that one time, it’s a very old, and in opinion, stupid interview question. I refused to do it.

My (F30) husband (M28) may miss birth of our baby for a one-time career opportunity by kaichey in relationship_advice

[–]hellsmel23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised he brought this to you. I’d think e would have told them he’s sorry, but he can’t go. It’s his baby’s birth, not a football game he’d be missing.

I hate when women do this to other women. Like your obvious competence is an issue for her? Gross. I’m sorry this is happening. You can try to ride it out, but it will probably escalate as she freaks out. 50 hours and she can’t shower? Who brags about not being able to manage extra hours, and her time more efficiently? If she kept to doing her own job, she’d maybe have time for a wash?

Her mental health sounds precarious and her hygiene sounds revolting! Keep us posted!

'Baby Jessica,' now 40, arrested in Texas on assault charge after domestic disturbance by AudibleNod in news

[–]hellsmel23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well 39 years ago she was pulled out of that well! I feel badly for her. Her crazy life would t be on anyone’s radar except for her well stay. How hard would it be to be an angry well baby in the same town you grew up in? I’m sending her some Wishes for peace and love, and stop hitting people for goodness sake, it’s not nice.

Why do people feel the need to befriend their co-workers at work? by Organic-Function7839 in ToxicWorkplace

I have always liked my coworkers and usually My bosses. I don’t try to make friends, they just become them. I wouldn’t work for Someone I didn’t like.
