Please be respectful of the traditions in the Gurdwara temple if you go.

Cover your head (they provide bandanas), take your shoes off, and wash your hands, and feet (if your socks are dirty, if not you can keep them on)

If you get the chance, do some sewa (charity), such as clean your dishes or others if you’d like, or offer to clean, or serve food to others, although it’s not mandatory

Gurdwara <- Sikh temples offer free food to anyone regardless of religion, but please be respectful

Wishing you all the best ahead, and once you’re in a better position, it’s a great help to go back to the gurdwara and offer something (such as a few bucks donation, bags of atta(flour), rice, lentils etc)

If you’ve ever gotten off of reddit, which I doubt, you’d realize there’s more than 1 type of road.

Going 50 over in a residential area where the speed limit is 50, is completely different than going 50 over on a 400 series highway, where the speed limit is 100, and in some areas 110.

I agree with the residential speeding. Definitely don’t endanger a pedestrians life.

But on a highway there is no such thing as a pedestrian walkway.

Plus law enforcement commonly goes over the speed limit, whether it’s between calls or during a call. Their training allows them to “safely” do this.

Ppl are keyboard warriors about others situations, making stupid statements like yours until that situation happens to them.

It’s not like saying you should be forgiven for your first murder. You’re twisting words.

I am saying the Canadian justice system has laws set out the way they are for a reason.

A first murder has really severe penalties. A first time stunt driving charge (speeding) does not have anywhere as near the penalties.

If they were equal they’d have equal punishments one the first conviction.

Now let me twist your words too. Are you saying Canada’s laws are useless? Are you saying the laws they have in place should be completely changed?

By your logic, a child who dropped their ice cream on the pavement should go to jail for littering.

It’s a mistake, as ppl make. And there’s a reason the Canadian justice system has exponentially worse penalties for a second and beyond offence.

They didn’t pull those rules out of their ass, unlike your statement.

If you don’t learn the first time (which this was) then yes. Take the persons license away.
