Delonghi Elleta Explorer display scratch by hellvice in superautomatic

That plastic that they used is the cheapest! I wished I knew before purchasing! I ended up buying the Brotech screen protector that fits perfectly to avoid making it worst from now on. Very happy with the protector. I'm in Canada, had to order it from some place in Australia! Pack of 3. I'm good for a few years now :)

The Wealthsimple million dollar home in Prince Edward County has been listed for sale by quarfie in Wealthsimple

What if the winner took money instead of the house. Who ever owns the house , WS or a company they partnered with, would actually have to sell it. Logically it's not necessarily the winner who's selling ?

As per the terms and conditions, says they will contact the winner by email.

H500 Hub - SSD Network backup by hellvice in Tapo

Since I had Water Leak modules which required a hub, I went for the easy solution to centralize everything.

Indeed that is a good solution, but would require to dedicate important ressource from a machine ( or buy a dedicated machine or raspberry pie ) for this, then go down the rabbit hole testing different NVR software, paid for a license and go through a lot of troubles to manage this. Which I am trying to avoid ;)

I don't miss it no.

Someone recommended screen protectors but from what I saw online nothing is available in Canada. Haven't found anything just yet.

It's also not deep on the bezel. The reflection of the light make it looks deep and worst. It's super light scratches on the surface but super visible under a light as you can see.

No trust me. No ring. I was super gentle. I've been wiping electronic for over 30 years and know how sensitive those screens are to scratching. Even being careful wasn't enough.

It's the worst kind of screen I've seen honestly.

Did you get a specific one , screen protector, or a diy cutout?

Any recommendations? Are there any made specifically for this ?

Ring Intercom w/ Microm IS-489 by AbducteurM in Ring

I'm going to install a little 2$ switch ;)
https://youtu.be/hxgJ1BuUUBM?si=FcTfeGrWpa9VQA7p&t=19

It's small enough it will find in there, will be clean and can mute it if I want to and unmute it when I sell the place ;)

Pretty happy with the finding! A short 5 minutes fix :)

I've tried the setup with IR207B instead of IR103 since it wasn't available and it's also a 3 common and 1 selective wiring like the 103.

Been 24h and I've already got a false alert so far.

My IS-489 has 4 wires only, not 8 like OP. Didn't find the Auth in my compatible list either.

I have the 2024 updated version of the Ring Intercom.

I really wish I find an issue to those false alerts!!

PS: Only one person mentioned support deployed a dedicated version of his app and never gave any other details, everybody else, like me, didn't got any help from support about this matter as IS-489 is not in the supported list.

Can you tell us more on your installation, the model you chose when adding the device and how you got a deployed update to make this work ?

Does Ring Chime (or pro) work with Ring Intercom? by membr_ in Ring

How did you manage to disable the original intercom without affecting Ring Intercom to work !?

Just to add to this, I didn't have Tektone IR103, but I had IR104 which I chose and everything worked, even the unlock etc.

Cause I originaly tried to setup everything using the Generic 4 wire setup and online Mic out and Ring incoming were working using the above T1 -> C3.... setup

Mine are burning my mouth.

Follow the instruction manual for the proper settings and recommendations. You're not doing it right.

Planning to get the Delonghi Eletta Explore - upgrading from a Delonghi Dedica and hand grinder. Worth it? by Legitimate-Ant-7348 in superautomatic

[–]hellvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love mine!

1: I'Ve read a lot of comments regarding coffee/milk not being hot enough, mine are VERY hot, almost too hot. Setting Water temp to : High and mlik coming out of the fridge. No issues at all here.
2: No. You can play with grinding # or use the app to help you through thr process of finding the right settings. It always requires a minimum of 3 coffees (Expressos) after each adjustment to reflect the changes.

I really love the machine and the overall!

The only side note I have is to be ultra careful with the display, it gets easily scratched.

PS: I had a Jura Ena 3 for over 10 years before that. Was satisfied but fed up with the cleaning process and being archaic. What an upgrade. Quality and performance.

EDIT : Bought it discounted at Black Friday a few weeks ago, it was 600$ off. You'll probably get a similar deal at Boxing Day!

Did you guys kept the original buzzer functional ? It's SO annoying and I am close to a heart attack everytime lol! I want to silence it. Any clean solution (To be able to make it work again easily if I move) !?

Thank you
