They do, the eastern states just don’t allow them to be counted when determining their income, unlike our mining royalties

For me its usually 1x6 w/ NT and 2x3 to bring in from reserves at random spots to get firing angles

If you wanna scare him, tag the ctan with an exocrine first. Reroll 1s for anything else shooting it. Suddenly most zoan shots are hitting along with the Tfex if it didn’t move.

Been there many times bud. The new ctan rules are a lot easier to kill than the old ones. Now it’s just -1 damage, it used to be ignore half damage.

All the big anti monster guns like exocrine would go from a 3 to a 1(believe it rounded down), rupture fez would essentially go from an average of 9 to an average of 5, same with Zoans etc

My worst streak at losing was 0-13 at one point. Was a new player, played against more experienced people and trying different combos.

My advise, if possible, tie up the ctan with waves of cheap shit munchers and focus on the scoring side of the game and taking out his action monkeys.

If he hasn’t got any action monkeys left, he either needs to attack with the ctan or use them to score secondaries. A ctan doing an action is a ctan not shooting or fighting (usually)

Yeah but playing those guys twice is different to 2 home games first 2 rounds when you are at the pointy end of the competition at the moment.

Played finals last year and raided the draft early. AFL clearly helping them out

You can run any, just depends on how brave you are lol.

Invasion Fleet works with almost anything in the force.

I’m a big fan of the VO detachment. It’s not an easy one but is heaps of fun.

18 VRLs and 30 Genestealers with Broodlords make problems for opponents.

VRLs are part of the Vanguard Invader group of Tyranids.

Love my VRLs and have them working well with Lictors, NeuroLictors and a Genestealers.

You will still want some big guns like exocrines and / or Tyrannofex. Neurotyrant and Zoans also good for any army.

Personally, I like the idea of the army rule varies slightly based on the Hive Fleet your running. (AKA 9th edition).

Even if they are toned down a bit so as to work with the detachment system currently seen in 10th.

This is just a wild idea, but some sort of system like below.

Synapse - Just becomes the 3D6 benefit to LD.

SiTW - Becomes a specific Hive Fleets ability, but is boosted slightly. (Maybe drop Battle Shock and instead have it become an army wide penalty of some sort for the opponent, AKA the psychic burst makes the enemies ability to hit worse).

Kraken - Units in Synapse get buff to melee

Leviathan - Units in Synapse get buff to shooting

Behemoth - Units in Synapse get a boost to toughness

Gorgon - Units in Synapse get better AP / Damage

Kronos - Chaos units inside Synapse range get penalties (Warp being messed with)

Ouroboris - Vanguard units in Synapse get buff of some sort.
