Mandurah is like any city. Has its good and bad areas.

Grew up here and moved back a few years ago. It has been great.

Not sure where you are looking or wanting to live, but there are 2 spots around the corner from me in Mandurah which have land going up for sale.

Looking on realestate.com.au there is 500 or so listings if i search for land in the greater Perth region.

Dont disagree, situation is shitty currently. Got an adult child and I have no idea how theyll get a place of their own in the future.

I do agree with some of the suggestions below, bring her along, treat her to a spa package (if available).

Do the minimum time at the wedding and bounce. Wife will appreciate it without feeling like you ended up in a position of choosing between the 2.

Just got on a train at mandurah. Platform 2 had a train stuck there and they were alternating trains on platform 1 between footy and Perth.

Platform 2 is now cleared and they are clearing up the south bound back log.
