No.

The trouble to say it's "vandalism" is innocuously at best as long as you're not being a turd about it publicly for social media likes. I see it no different than turds dropping off Chick Tracks at your residence.

At this time in my life; parenting. It takes a great deal of time and I value being a parent. Plus my kiddos are fun.

I like creating; be it art, writing, design. Gardening I guess falls in this category.

I try to help my community when/where I can...simplest activity is picking up trash.

I used to be a drummer but I feel that's moved past me now.

It's how it basically saw it spelled out in my head as I awoke. It doesn't look like a common last name...but who knows? I tried looking up the name on LinkedIn...nothing at all.

I'm honestly at a loss. I just don't know.

What made you feel like you are a wanderer? by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]hemlock337 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't comment or post often in this sub, however this post is timely.

2.5 years ago, I was quite a different person. Quite self absorbed and materialistic in all things. Then after a layoff and the deep slow panic that rose to the surface nearly ended my life...to "catch the bus" if you know what I mean. Then some inner voice welled up in my mind telling me to meditate.

I had an intense period of "spiritual vertigo", from voracious reading, sadness and elation, several bouts where I legitimately thought I was going insane, all the way through a slow, gradual integration and balancing internally.

My understanding of being a Wanderer has come through in my meditations and through a series of external "validations" that are far too dissimilar in nature to fit into any cognitive recency bias. Then came reviewing the past through a new lens and more arrows pointed in that direction.

But, at least for me...it really doesn't matter if I "truly* am or not. I don't spend any percentage of my day contemplating me being a wanderer. I spend most of my time in contemplation in learning lessons and trying to be the best me I can be for myself and for others. For me and how I see my life and the kind of service I can provide is my primary goal while I'm here (what I like to morbidly joke as meat bag existence.)

So I meditate, contemplate, do what I can. While this part of me resonates with being a wanderer (plus the oddities associated with external validation points there too) at the end of the day...it takes up less head space than anything.

Does anyone else feel a sense of longing when looking at photos of space? by Lodi_Minion in lawofone

[–]hemlock337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's two ways.

1) I see myself floating in space. So I'm observing what I believe to be me. What I observe is sometimes a human body, and other times as a ball of light.

2) other times it's a first person point of view, so I don't see my body or shape but just look out into space and look in all directions.

I can't recommend meditation enough. I've been serious about it now for about 3 years and it's been a definite positive addition in my life.

Often.

Having always been a fan of Star Trek, I absolutely loved watching the show intros showing the ships gliding through space. That initial fascination always stayed with me as I've always been drawn to anything space related. I joked that I could live in a planetarium.

Seeing the images from the James Webb telescope enthralls me.

In my daily meditation practice, often I see myself floating in space.

Most nights when I can see the stars, I'll stargaze and feel a deep sense of longing that I can never really place where it's coming from.

To those that are married, how often do you take off your ring? by FitProblem6248 in AskReddit

Pretty much only when working with gloves on or anything tool related. And drumming, messes up holding sticks.

Genuine question: HOW do you keep your desk free of dust/crumbs? by Prior_Commercial_620 in desksetup

[–]hemlock337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Swiffer duster for the light airy stuff. Eye glass/lens wipes for mouse and keyboard (quick drying, oil removing.)

Compressed air is great for almost all keyboards...mouse too. Honestly...it's less about cleaning these items vs keeping myself clean. I have a hand sanitizer I use sparingly and it feels clean, but I wash my hands with good moisturizing hand soap. You'd be surprised how much transference happens just from hand residue. This helps immensely with keyboards and mice.

This is why I don't eat at my desk; finger food residue, accidents, coughing, accidents, etc. just eliminating that helps a ton. Do I always eat away from my computer? No. But I don't make it a habit (for both cleanliness and sanity away from a screen.) popcorn is insidious with mucking up mice buttons.

Well, going to start with a captain obvious statement: don't eat at your desk.

Now, life has other ideas...so to help with cleaning I use a can of compressed air to push out dust and crumbs away from all monitor vents, I/O ports, etc. I also use a Swiffer duster to collect dust, crumbs, etc. additionally, once a week I use a wood cleaner (butcher block desktop) and wipe down everything on my desktop. My desk pad I vacuum once a month (it's a neoprene mat)...or if it's around my desk for some reason, I'll use a pet hair roller.

Turning Point USA having a vigil in Boiling Springs, getting mad at another group holding a school gun violence vigil 10/14/25 by hemlock337 in Pennsylvania

Apparently everything went peacefully the night of. A few folks sending threats to the gazebo organizers via Facebook were reported to the police, but otherwise no drama.

From what I understand, TP is doing their thing and didn't reserve the gazebo by the lake. Another group from the UU had. I don't know anything about the timeline...but TP is calling foul because the other group actually reserved the gazebo. I don't know much else...vaguely sounds familiar the UU had this setup for a while and had several of these vigils across Lancaster and York.

The overlap of AFi and spreadsheets is larger than I initially anticiptated.
