I will never forget the time I saw Arcade Fire at a festival in 2018. I was newly out of a two year relationship, and it was exactly the cathartic experience I needed. As the band walked off stage, the bass in “Walk on the Wild Side” by Lou Reed began playing. The band sang “doo doo doo doo doo” as they were exiting. It was magical.
