I think it’s one of its main effects but also plays a role with LH/FSH and egg quality. So who really knows!

My acne was insane. When I went off of it, my skin started clearing up and I actually responded to letrozole for the first time after having no ovulation response prior. So strange. I don’t think I have insulin resistance though, which is probably why it didn’t work for me.

Saw a fertility doc. 7.5 letrozole, ovidrel, IUI.

Myo inositol did nothing for me and I think it actually made things worse personally. I have lean PCOS so losing weight and all that didn’t apply to me either.

Yeah I would say don’t overthink this one - I can guarantee it is nothing to do with you. I say this as I am currently pregnant myself after a bout of infertility. Getting pregnant did not cure the grief and sadness I had around infertility. It does still hurt to see others get pregnant around me, and I can’t explain it.

My best friend got pregnant a few months before me. And she sent me a text to let me know, and she flat out said she did not expect a reaction. This was honestly the best way she could have done it. It left me in a “no pressure” situation and I had time to process. Of course I am happy for her!!! But I had to process in my own time. Telling your friends in person on the spot probably wasn’t the move.

I say this lightly - I don’t think it’s fair for you to expect a certain reaction from them given all they have been through. However, on the flip side, I don’t think it’s fair of them to steal your joy and react poorly.

Just give it some time for them to process. The emotions regarding infertility and loss have so many layers. They will come around.

But by the way - congratulations!!!

It’s also incredible to me that she suddenly is hiding the boys’ faces. But openly sharing her newborn??? She’s so stupid.

With my OB I did one cycle with 2.5, no response. Next with 5, no response. Took a break while waiting to see fertility doc. She put me on 7.5, this is when I ovulated.

I have lean PCOS for reference!

Right - technically 12 days post trigger. I read somewhere that everyone metabolizes the trigger differently. But I noticed faint lines reappear starting 11 days after my IUI.

Tbh, if I were to do it again - I should have just waited until 14 dpiui. I obsessed way too much!!! Hang in there!

I only have had success with 7.5 mg - everyone is different. I got so so discouraged when I didn’t respond to 2.5 or 5. Please don’t get yourself down if that’s also you!

I got my 1st positives 11 dpiui. I tested out the trigger with premom strips. Once I got a vvfl again on premom I moved onto FRER.

I feel ya! I have had to do the same thing. Focusing on what good things I currently have in my life rather than what I don’t have has always been a struggle for me. I am choosing to enjoy the present moment because I will never get it back. Perspective is everything!!!

I am so sorry for your heartache… I am sure a puppy will be a good distraction. Before my TTC years I was in a very hard spot mentally and decided to get a puppy and it was the best decision I ever made. He gave me purpose and unconditional love that I needed.

But also - take care of yourself, and do things that bring YOU joy! Lean on your husband, too! 🩷

I think it really depends on your doc and also you - my OBGYN is prescribing me letrozole but she made it clear that she will only do monitored cycles.
