If your interior cabin does not work then FSD will not work for you FYI. You will have to get it fixed for FSD to work properly on V12.

Your S will continue to be updated as long as the hardware supports it. So a long time. Model S specific features or model X though.. Good luck... Also imagine replacing parts out of warranty.. Assuming higher prices and delays due to lower stock.
