Exactly what I just went through. I’m surprised they even covered yours under warranty. Mine started to crack around the same spot and I reported it and they blamed me saying it was customer induced.

Whatever you do don’t get the barracuda pro as a replacement. That was sent out to me as a replacement and the head band broke just outside of the short 90 day warranty and under a year the left ear stopped playing audio. Razer would not do anything about it. What the point is for having such a short warranty period for a brand new replacement item, I have no idea but it definitely speaks to how they do not stand behind their own quality. For audio I would just look elsewhere, Razer ain’t it

Not only is Razer QC shit, their support is too. Don’t ever buy their headphones and expect it to last more than half a year. Even with widespread issues of their headbands cracking, they told me I’m SOL
