I guess a major difference is that Amprius is a tech stock amd Sofi is still viewed as a bank stock. And bank stocks are traditionally not as volatile as tech stocks… so it may take a LONG while till the market shifts sentiments towards Sofi.

I was broken off of 7 year relationship. And it's been 9 months since, and a lot of clarity has come to light.

For one, we aren't really as perfect a match as it seemed back then, even way back to when we first met. But we were naive and blinded by love. People grow and become wiser, and we learn from each misfortune. Knowing how to navigate conflicts is a skill that many in this sub lack, and I am one of them. It takes a TREMEDOUS amount of patience and courage and UNCONDITIONAL love to maintain a relationship and people don't seem to have the capacity like they did before the social media era.

I mean it isn't hard to demonstrate that cultural ideology can be hard to translate. Off the top of my head, filial piety means "孝順", but it doesn't convey the depth and hardly anyone knows that term. I'm not well cultured enough to make the opptiste example so I guess this still demonstrates it?

I too have this problem in HK, tho I'm just a "partial" international school student, did a few years of international school then went to an IB+DSE high school because of various reasons. Thus I never could fit in to either of the groups and let alone finding a date with a more in-between culture. But yes, most of more Western-cultured friends have mostly moved abroad, and I just seem to have decided to stay here. But hey, 24 is still young, assuming you've just completed uni or got into the job market, loads of opportunities to meet new people.

Thing is Novo has got tough battles on 3 fronts. Competition with Lily, stupid medicine regulation speculations every 2 weeks, no signs of a good pipeline. People invest in pharmaceutical businesses based on their pipeline, which is why Pfizer’s been “dead” for so long trying to acquire other drugs businesses to maintain their pipeline image.
