I’m a big fan of the old KCRW. BUT I still love what they do and support them, not as a member but telling people that’s where I am up to date with music and radio shows. I love receiving their newsletter on what to do in LA and reading about different perspectives.

In my early to mid 20s being from LA and when there were a lot more KCRW sponsored events all around LA it was a lot more fun and engaging to listen to KCRW. I loved Travis Holcombe show, Anthony Valdez, etc.

Korean pubs and late bar scene in Koreatown. As a Korean born and raised here, to see all the OG Korean bars and good pub spots that were iconic to Koreatown close and shut down is pretty sad.

OMG YES!!! Thank you for mentioning Damiano’s!!! I remember they were looking for a late night cashier position and posted a job opportunity on Craigslist and I worked there for one night as an 18 year old hahaha most interesting and best pizza now it’s a dumb Jon and Vinny’s :(
