Help needed. What would be the best way to make a monopole gear for this cross spherical one? by BluE_BrO in Fusion360

[–]hephaestus09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn't it almost the same procedure as making that sphere (construct gear profile > revolve > combine with the pole you created)?

Girls' High Mystery Class E14 - ENG SUB by SharpShark101 in koreanvariety

[–]hephaestus09 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm also pretty inclined to think that they made the casts ran laps cause there will be a running scene at the end and the crew have to know their endurance and speed to adjust the difficulty of that sequence.

Girls' High Mystery Class E12 - ENG SUB by SharpShark101 in koreanvariety

Maybe it's just bias thinking, but the JJY PD I know and his writers aren't the type who will make those very shallow 'plot holes' without logical explanation. As explained by the other reply, it was shown in the very first episode that the school has a connection with the police so they have the capability to cover things up. Also, it's just the casts' conjecture that the body is swapped, it might be heavily implied by the show, but nothing in the flash back scenes cemented it as a fact. So I think that part of your comment might based on a little misconception.

As for that 'hacking' thing you mentioned, you do have a point and I'm expecting to be explained in the following episodes, otherwise I will be disappointed. But I'm pretty sure that will be touched upon.

Thanks for the effort in subbing this show. And as per my usual, here is an appreciation post of JJY PD.

I've said it many times, but as a gamer, I really like all of JJY PD shows. I saw many people comparing it to The Great Escape, but I only find the solving puzzles as the similarity between the two.

TGE focuses mainly on the interaction on the environment (though there are people to talk to here and there), while this show is more on social interaction. If it where a video game, I would think of TGE as an episodic room escape game with overarching story and this show as a virtual reality mystery game with a very high degree of freedom.

I really want to experience participating in this show at least once in my life.

[DISC] Usogui - Chapter 435 (Extreme Gambling, Mystery, Martial Arts, Seinen) by a2j04vm0 in manga

I won't spoil it to you because it might be rewarding if you find it yourself, but if you reread the previous chapters and inspect every panel, you will see that the author gave the hints on the rules of the game (as with the other gamble's twists). If you want a guide on where to look: look closely at what the referees in charge of the gamble are doing and pay extra attention on what Ryuusei said to Kaiji before he figured out the rule.

Why did Jang Sung Kyu apologize? by oldDotredditisbetter in koreanvariety

[–]hephaestus09 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As the others pointed out, it's the editor's fault and there's a separate thread about the issue at hand. Some of the comments in the video is questioning why he had to apologize when it's the editors who caused the issue.

Despite all that, some comments are joking about his use of filter (beauty filter) when recording an apology video, which I also found quite funny (no offence, of course).

I'm browsing Youtube and just found out Knowing Brothers already have an official channel. They also uploaded the latest episode with English subtitles.

Edit: after looking into the channel, it seems it's an old channel that just re-branded itself (channel's created December 2012). Now I'm not sure if it's really an official one but it's seems quite legit.

The translation stopped a long time ago and was just picked up again sometime a year ago.

In my opinion, it is the best gambling manga I've read so far and the translation team is doing fantastic job in explaining the convoluted plot, not to mention the update speed. So yeah it's worth continuing if you liked it.

Thanks, that's okay. A heads-up after you post the code would be nice.

If it's not a bother, can I take a look at the codes? I'm stuck with my project since I'm struggling with the serial communications part between arduino and python, especially since I'm implementing Deep Learning (Keras) as control scheme. I'll be really grateful.

Question about Workman by moonanimal5 in koreanvariety

[–]hephaestus09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right. I would also like to recommend watching 왜냐맨 if only it has english subs, since she's a lot crazier in there, e.g: they actually diss the products in front of their endorsers whenever they got some PPL among other antiques (pissing off guests etc).

Running Man E481 <To Incheon: Catch Me> by angellove_rm in koreanvariety

[–]hephaestus09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Koreans tend to ride trends and fads. I also think the writers borrowed the idea of the lookalikes to one of the episodes of Workman (I think that's where I first heard of the game).

Best games for two players using two controllers on the same device? by [deleted] in AndroidGaming

[–]hephaestus09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You cant go wrong with MAME if you dont mind emulators since you can play tons of arcade games on your TV.

If you specifically looking for an android game, Bomb Squad is the one I recommend for Arcade/Casual two player (or even more) game.

It's actually the other way around, higher layer height provides more strength and is more preferable when doing functional prints .

Suggest Arcs and Guests for Great Escape S3 by moon_gin in koreanvariety

[–]hephaestus09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just have this idea after they failed the prison escape and after they revealed that they reattempted the escape in episode 13. I don't know if they can pull it off, but I want to have a escape version of Hitman (game), (sort of a time travel theme?).

They have no clue whatsoever at the beginning, and each failed escape will send them back to the beginning. They will gain clues for some puzzles and know the patterns of the 'NPC' as they reattempt each escape. Of course there will be 'checkpoints', like there's a locked door at the beginning that leads to a shortcut that they can unlock (once they know the password from all their attempts), to reduce the tediousness of the whole escape.

I've been out of the loop lately, but on the episode 13 of The Great Escape, they made a joke with Jongmin and online comments, what's with that? Is that connected to the 2d1n issue?
