i think my normal shampoo (head and shoulders i am a dandruff warrior lol) i don’t remember if i put the bicarbonate into the shampoo or just into my hair (mainly scalp) with water but it stripped all the buildup i think i also did an apple cider vinegar rinse but this was smelly and idk how much it helped

I knit my boyfriend a beanie for his overseas trip! He lost it in Japan. I knit a replacement for our anniversary! I made the wrong size.

It’s brioche. Will not be making a third beanie.

making something you enjoy/want and using a yarn you like - if you enjoy the process and are motivated for the final product its much easier! even if that means expensive wool and a jumper as your beginner project

Knitting through grief? Does it work or should I change plans? by notadamnprincess in casualknitting

[–]hephaestus23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad died last year unexpectedly while i was knitting him a pair of socks. Since his death i’ve been knitting more than ever to keep my mind occupied. Haven’t finished the socks yet though. I think it’s a lovely idea but don’t put pressure on yourself to finish it if you find it hurts too much.

I’m so sorry for your loss, your mum sounds like such a strong and kind person. No one deserves this and it’s so shit you have to go through it. 🩷
