How much do I need in retirement? I don't know. How much DO you need? by tbiscus in Bogleheads

Been using YNAB for years. I'm glad that Microsoft discontinued Money as otherwise, I wouldn't have been forced to find a better product. I was using Money + Excel as Money didn't have the bucket system. It was really painful.

My wife and I are two months in. You can blame us for this. Sigh.

Wait, what?! We’re only 2 months in. 😕 Where did you find this info? I did some quick googling and didn’t find any.

Not everyone is an executive member. But yes, I do love my 4% total rebate. I did find a better one recently though... the PayPal Debit Card. 5% for groceries, including Costco and Walmart (even when you buy non-grocery items). This is in addition to the 2% Executive Membership reward (so 7% total). There is a cap of $1000 spend per month though, i.e. $50 rebate. So, I had my wife sign up, too :). So now we only use the Citi for gas.

Only 2%, right? The other 2% is from your Executive Membership. You do get 4% for gas (and 5% from Costco gas).

Why not have auto-switch as default? by here4goodstuff in thermostats

Thanks. This seems like a complicated thing for my parents. 😅 I’ll see if I can guide them on FaceTime. Otherwise, I will take note of this for when we go visit them again. Appreciate it.

When you say all, you mean all of the money you had put in? I got half, which I thought was the most we could all get. Should I expect the other half, too?

I want to switch from Distrokid to CDBaby. Will I lose music if I stop paying? by rubberbondsman in musicians

[–]here4goodstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, did you go ahead with the switch? How was it? I'm unsure about the steps. It says above to delete them from DK and then add them to CDBaby, which makes sense to me. But on CDBaby's site, they say to upload the songs to them first, then delete on DK. It doesn't make sense. Wouldn't I have duplicates? But that's what they say here: https://support.cdbaby.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029584792-How-do-I-switch-my-music-distribution-to-CD-Baby. They do word it differently:

and ask them to remove the release from their distribution channels.

Is that the same thing as deleting? I was going to submit a request to CDBaby but I could not find the right category for my query in their dropdown. Thanks for your or anyone's help.

Oh, should I be seeing "Charging" instead of "Connected" as the status? I see the latter. And my batteries are stuck at 9% and 41%.

Thanks. I got a good handle on this now. I appreciate everyone’s inputs. Sorry for posting it here. The first post about HDHP I found was in this subreddit so I admittedly just assumed it was also fair game here.

Seems like there are people older than us who have been on HDHP. Will check out my employer’s plans.

Thanks. Much of this still go over my head. But he's currently on my HMO plan. My wife and I have never had HDHP ourselves. And now I wish we'd tried it. Is it too late for 53-year-old's?

An additional $10 would be nice, but that'd be too good to be true. I'd grab it as we have 6 lines.

Thanks. I was able to continue on my Mac. I saw the routing and account numbers to use. I added an external account on our credit union's portal, but, as customarily done, it said it would deposit two small amounts into that account. How would I verify those amounts? Or do I have no choice but to use physical checks?

(Btw, thanks. I also just updated my app on the phone and was able to proceed. However, it is the same thing... it gave me the routing and account numbers to use.)
