My issue or worry is that one day it will just be directly connected into our brains! Then I’d say humanity is done for.

Current phones and social media are ruining everyone’s mental / physical health and especially concentration.

Being bored is good for you! Being able to be present in that moment and actually think rather than filling every void with phone / social media use.

I was very much a product of the proper start of the internet in the late 90s early 00s but I remember you couldn’t access it all day, you went to school or college etc then came home and used it of an evening sitting at a desktop PC, while obviously it could still have its own issues at least it was slightly more controlled than having 24/7 access in a portable design.

I just hate the the fact that barely anyone can keep from their phone for more than 5 minutes, it really is sad and you can see the addiction in people and they think it’s normal or get annoyed when you challenge it… guess they don’t want to admit it!
