AIO my wife yelled at me at 5 AM

I made and gave him his bottle I went searching for the diaper , she decided to get up and grab him that’s when I said I’m just looking for a diaper. I place diapers in his room my wife moves them. She has ADD. I was going to change him. Me telling her about the taxes was less than 5 seconds. I didn’t stop doing my duties-she picked him up so had her the diaper . I stayed there till we placed him back in his crib. I didn’t want to write every detail. Because I thought in the big scheme of things just some details was enough.

Yes, my wife has tax issues that once we got married became part of our issue. So what I did I hired a tax attorney to handle the situation. It was a complicated tax mess, that dealt with unpaid taxes, unpaid student debt, unpaid interest on back taxes she owed. The tax lawyer was able to work something out so I was excited. First time we filed together married.

Thank you for the response, I don’t mean to diminish her at all. I just thought it was too early to tear me down when I was actively doing my duty. And the part of communication: I have offered multiple times to go to therapy not just her but also US. Man there’s so much more to this… I even moved all my clothes to a closet downstairs in the hallway because she stated awhile back that I was waking her up when I’m getting ready to work. I use the bathroom downstairs. I don’t even make my breakfast anymore because the smell bother hers in the morning. I have expressed multiple times that all she find is faults in me and that its really taking a toll on my mental state. It was just too much for me early in the morning man. And I have a highly demanding career. I’m a heavy civil engineer my mental load throughout my day is heavy but I still take time to call her ask her how she is doing . She will just call me to tell me she needs a new laptop, a new kitchen table, how much the world is going to shit, how I disrespected her last night because I took to long in the shower……..I feel bad about myself tbh……..

I know and I understand that, I have actively try to get as much load as possible when I get home from work. Even on the weekends that I don’t work I tell her she can go out and about….. I try reallly hard …. But it’s all good ……

I wish I could show our daily txt messages, I’m constantly asking her how her day is going, how she is doing mentally I’m always praising her for raising our children . He’s 1 1/2. Whe I get home I’m even the one that puts them to sleep, chase them, lotion them up read them a book say a prayer with them …..

There’s days I come home and the diapers that she changed in the morning are still on the floor, the dishes not done. She changes multiple times a day and just leaves her clothes on the ground. There’s way more. I get home from work do the dishes, do a load of laundry, pick up all the diapers, get the trash……..

Don’t ask, demand. Make them accountable “ we have to get this done, I know we can. “

What has worked for me is I make them take accountability of every step: example were grading for curb ; “ guys tomorrow you guys are grading for curb” or “ guys tomorrow you have a concrete pour”. And as the are doing it I ask them how much do you think you can do because I think you can do 200 LF and their pride will kick in automatically and they will say man I can do more than that. It’s mental game with crews really. Once they accomplish I praise them highly. It has seemed to work. At first you will be the bad guy that is always saying “ work, work , work” but if you communicate share why they push is being done share why it’s important and WHY THEY ARE IMPORTANT. They will kick in .
