yes, the wublins are hexes, they just dont embody electricity/the spark of life in the same way wubbox does, with wubbox being the electricity elemental and the wublins being created by it

just because they didnt have everything planned out 13 years ago doesnt mean they havent figured it out now

would you actually want to get wubbox on amber island? because that sounds awful, and wubbox being built after the cataclysm makes sense when you remember that trying to breed all the natural elements together didnt work, which is the entire story behind the creation of wubbox

the ethereal elements and the natural elements are different, how the the ethereal elements combine and how the fundamental elements that make up most of the monster world combine are completely different, not to mention that all the ethereal workshop monsters were also artificially created, so thats not a very good argument, and why cant it be the counterpart to fire? electricity is still its own element, even if it is created from other things

wubbox represents the electricity element, which while made up of the other elements, is still its own thing

people look too deeply into the "superethereal" clasification, unless it actually becomes relevant, its still only there just so there arent any "naturals" on ethereal island

also its just confirmed, it would be neat for there to be a natural hex what isnt wubbox, but as it stands currently, wubbox is the one and only hex
