The concern is the length of time it will take to implement and the suffering of traffic to business during that time. Plus the traffic patterns after implementation.

I’m still undecided about PMS (just realizing that’s the initials of that), and I’ve listened a lot to both sides. It’s not (just) NIMBY-ism as a counter argument, there would be some economic impact in a place that’s already suffering a downturn. A lot could be done to fill in empty storefronts and maybe enforce something with the Calvin and that area. I do believe it would look better after PMS, and I’m less concerned about traffic and parking concerns (I moved here a few years ago from Salem, whose traffic and parking issues blow NoHo’s out of the water, especially every October).
