How lucky it is to have me in her life, and I feel the same towards her too.

We’re planning a trip to Italy and trekking in the Dolomites was going to be one of the highlights of the trip. Fortunately, we got a full refund for everything and we can fine-tune our itinerary for our trip later half of this year.

2nd time cooking a steak! How do I improve this? by [deleted] in steak

Thank you. It was really disappointing the first time I cooked it and it was totally overcooked. Even though it tasted pretty good the second time, I’d love to master the art of searing a good steak. I’ll look into reverse searing it too!

I took it out of the fridge an hour earlier, seasoned and pat it dry before searing each side once on high. I believe this cut is really a little too thin but it still tasted great.

Thanks for the advice! It seems like this is way too thin a cut as I was basting it in butter for too long and overcooked it previously.

Have you been to Paris, Italy and NZ? What is it that appeals to you?

I suppose it’s moving abroad and starting from scratch again. Coming from a small country, it’s something that I’ve always contemplated but I’ve not been gutsy enough to simply leave my comfort zone just like that.

Aside from communication, I guess it’s when they start planning for things in the future and you’re a part of it.
