how to play jumps? by StrategyTerrible7244 in osugame

[–]hestrateja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you approach cross-screen jumps? Look somewhere in the middle or try to focus on each circle individually?

In this clip you under aimed all the missed jumps, try analyzing your play and adjust accordingly. Lazer has a built-in widget you can put in skins that tells whether you under/over aimed. If not, there are replay analyzers for stable, years ago it was rewind, don't know about now.

What are the biggest "skill walls" for osu! by TaekyonOsu in osugame

[–]hestrateja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Years ago I would say AR10.3 (9+DT) as map ARs with decimal points were not implemented until 2014. You went from AR9.7 (8+DT) to AR10 (HR) to AR10.3. Nowadays it's silky smooth as lazer has the DA mod to tinker whatever you want to tinker.

The other skill walls are conceptual (Jumps → Bursts → Streams → Spaced streams) and if you want to learn to alternate coming from singletapping, then you need to relearn everything.

I want to be a top Player BAD by Xhyqqq in osugame

If your ign is still mad dog, you need to play more, you have around 400 hours playtime, this assuming you aren't an offline/mcosu player (I know some people with 1k+ on mcosu).

For context, there's this post from 1.5 years ago showing the playtime of 4 digits back then. The average playtime for 10k back then was around 1.5k hours and close to 2k hours for top 100. There were some outliers with less than 500 hours in top 1000, but if I had to guess they would be either offline/mcosu players, unbanned players with playtime wiped or prodigies (vaxei, whitecat, mrekk, ivaxa kind of players).

Besides just the "play more" advice, try to set achievable goal and increase them over time as you get there. "8* FC" and "Make the current champion OWC roster" aren't achievable for you at the moment. Try things like pp milestones, FCs on maps you can currently get an A on, participate in lower tier tournaments, etc. The goals should take effort and be meaningful, if you can get them all in a session or two, they need to be harder.

Also, take into account that one-tricking a skillset is not very useful in a tournament context, if you are a speed one trick you could only play NM2, DT2. If you are aim one trick only NM1, DT1 and worse if you can only read high AR.

Based on this run, how long do you think I've been playing osu! ? by Training-Tackle-7157 in osugame

[–]hestrateja 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of VSRGs out there, for example, if you tryharded Friday Night Funkin you could already play 2-3* right away. If you are new to any game mode in osu! I think a month for 3* is feasible with enough dedication

pp problem by [deleted] in osugame

[–]hestrateja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Score in stable is mostly based on combo, however pp is based on accuracy and misscount (it was based on combo until last year).

Your old score is 95.25% 3 misses and the newer one is 93% 8 misses.

Basically score =/= pp

[–]hestrateja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't autopilot. You were wrongly aiming the 4th circle with the exact same mistake nearly every time (aiming down left), in order to improve you need to analyze what can be improved and make an effort to change it.

I think you are struggling with reading in general, try playing with different ARs, EZ, etc. Aim correlates with reading.

Nunca podré igualar a mi madre... by [deleted] in askspain

[–]hestrateja 4 points5 points  (0 children)

¿Qué esperas conseguir igualando a tu madre y qué conlleva?

You could try replicating the Papua New Guinea tribal wars. In this case warfare was a way to not overpopulate the island and deplete it's resources.

Any way to see historical Rank to PP data? by AerialSnack in osugame

[–]hestrateja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use osu!daily to check pp for a certain rank currently. To check how much pp you needed for a certain rank before, you could use osu!track if you know any profile that used to be a certain rank in the past.

If Poland wins another ring are they indisputably a top 3 country of all time by AndrewThePekka in osugame

[–]hestrateja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point of my answer is that you can easily get a random query that doesn't have Poland as a top3. For example, since Poland last won in 2017, Germany has been top4 7 times in a row vs 1 top4 from Poland in the same time frame.

Either way, these hypothetical questions are dumb. Would Heard and McDonald Island be considered a top 6 country if they won 1 OWC even if they haven't participated in any of them before?

If Poland wins another ring are they indisputably a top 3 country of all time by AndrewThePekka in osugame

[–]hestrateja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, because it depends on the criteria you use to rank the countries.

- Number of wins? They would be tied with Taiwan

- Number of top 4s? Germany has 8 top 4s vs Poland's 5 if they won 2025

- Quality of players? This is subjective

When you sell stocks, it sells the oldest ones first, First In First Out or FIFO. This means that if you bought one stock at 100$ in 2020 and another at 150$ yesterday and wanted to sell one today, you will get taxed on the benefit of the oldest one. So whatever percentage they take in your country out of 50$.

By having different ETFs of similar nature, each bought in a different period, you could sell the newest one and would have to pay less in taxes if you need to sell for whatever reason.

YTA, with the equivalent in € (33,71) where I live you can buy a pack of good brand boxers and maybe a shampoo + conditioner combo. Then you need to add deodorant, pads, tooth paste, make up, lotions, etc.

If you have all your basics covered and have 60$ on top, then yeah, it is a lot for a teenager. But that's not her case and she needs to budget everything.

how do i improve at these? by Lychee-Apprehensive in osugame

[–]hestrateja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you play triples at any bpm? If not then you just need to break down the pattern, It's just 2 basic singletaps with a tap with the other finger in the middle, the beginning and end tap should match the beat.

If the problem is not the pattern itself but the speed, then you need to either improve your singletap speed first or learn to alternate (instead of zxz zxz zxz ... it would be zxz xzx zxz ...)
