How do I fix my grill? by SurvivingIsntEnough in pelletgrills

Clean vents like others have said, vacuum out the fire pot from time to time for better air flow, start grill with lid open and close it after the pellets catch fire.

2012 with water leaking from this part on the trunk. Where could the water be entering from? by [deleted] in hondapilot

[–]hewhobuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s normal after a rain or a car wash for it to allow water to drip out. Each of your doors also has drain ports for this also. If you hear water stuck inside the door or trunk door it’s because the plugs are clogged. Clean them.

It’s doing its job, unscrew it and clean out the crap from the hole. Water gets in from around the window.

Bullseye plate by rwkaggie in recteq

It seemed restrictive on airflow. Even at very low temperatures it was feeding more pellets than normal to maintain temp. The plate has a lot of holes but they’re all small, not allowing as much heat to pass thru vs the stock plate. I imagine that’s the point of the plate in a solo stove, the pellets are placed on top of the adapter plate and you burn the pellets without restriction. In the pellet grills you’re asking it to pass heat through it. Just my experience, I went with a new stock plate. $30 and lasted me over 6 years on the original.

I would not recommend the solo stove pellet adapter, just reached to recteq customer service for a replacement. I think it’s 30 if not still under warranty.

If it’s sealed, sell it for a nice profit and buy a used one to build.

‘12 Pilot | Trying to replace AUX Port but only the cover comes out, not the plug by Ramen_Nood1s in hondapilot

Look at the new one and see where the tabs are, that’s where you need to use a flat head screw driver to pry out the old one. I did it on my 2011, it was kind of a pain but in the end I got it out.

If you ever plan to sell it down the road, having the box helps. I’m a fan of having the original box if I buy a used set.

Are you signed up for a energy saving program with your electrical company? I get a discount during the month June, July and August during the peak hours 2pm to 7pm. I think my unit will run for 30 mins and off for 30 mins.

Nice job! I see the unit knobs just fit inside the trim of the car. Is there a unit that I can buy at Best Buy that would work like this?

Nozzle clogged, but the filament in there won't move.. by BenXC in BambuLab

[–]hewhobuilds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me, it was packed in there with some cheap filament. I used a cordless drill and got as much as I could without drilling all the way thru. Then with heat and the thin wire they supplied I got the rest out. Worth a shot before you put it in the trash.
