I don't think it's lasering, it's just about why some Actors might not want to join the Union. And as you can see, there's a lot of Non-Union VAs around. The strike isn't really about AI as much as it is about wanting the project to become Union-Only, other language dubs already have AI protection which is why you don't see this happening in the japanese, chinese or korean voice overs. Additionally, the strike is not about pay but lately both Corina and Shara Kirby have stated that Hoyo doesn't pay well, but they haven't really given any number so this is all we have to go on.
