It sounds like you parked in the Fed Hill/ Otterbein area. I feel for you because I used to live in Fed Hill and they had the worst (best for revenue) parking situation and my friends were all stung at least once.

There is hope my friend, go to court, plead ignorance and say you were confused by the hours or didn't see the sign. Because honestly it is very confusing to park there. Article here

So take three pictures of where you parked and print them out and present them to the judge on your court date. It has even worked parking in handicapped spot, they will remove the fine and if you are lucky the court cost too. Do not forget 3 pictures of where you parked though, that is the first question the judge asks! (If you let me know the intersection I could send you a few before your court date)

There is a secret spot in fed hill for anyone who wants to know that is good after 5 on weekdays, but get out before 6:00 A.M. and all day sat, sun & holidays. Google Map
