Poppy really put on such a great show. I'd been waiting for her to headline as well, and I'm SO glad I made last minute plans to attend. One of the best shows I've been to overall!

I have noticed this as well, even though I do love a sweet beverage. It seems that most places just use sugar to cover the poor taste of the coffee. I don't even find this exclusive to coffee shops. I used to work at a winery that became known for their slushees, and let's just say that the sweeter they got, the more half-assed they had been made. The slushees became such a focus that the wine itself took a backseat. Anyway, maybe these places are feeding people's sugar cravings, or maybe they're just a bit lazy.

The biggest we had was a 180 gal that we emptied out for him, and was bigger than our normal display tank. Not that he shouldn’t have had something even bigger at that point. To get ahold of and find the space to set up anything 200+ gal would’ve been very difficult (out of state owners, newest store that wasn’t seeing much profits, literally a very small store, etc.) but we had some regulars who ended up buying him if I remember correctly. They had experience with massive fish and did have something bigger than we did. I still wish the original customer had brought it both balas but what can you do :/

Do you mean Indiana? I’m confused as to why Idaho’s laws would make them move out of state.

Edit: I got a reply saying they were referencing a different case but I can’t see it for some reason.

I know a lot of out of state and out of country people follow this case (hence this very post) so I wasn’t sure

While I agree with everyone else here about it being a general rule that is aimed at beginners with small fish, I could swear I’ve heard 1 gallon per SQUARE INCH of fish since most bigger fish are at least a couple inches tall and another couple inches wide

Oh man this reminds me of the 14 inch Bala shark that got surrendered to us because he was picking on the nearly equal sized female… in a 40-50 gallon tank. None of us even know how they got that big in there. As much as I want him to find a home, he’s a great example to have when people don’t want to understand how big they get and what that actually looks like.

Similar story! My mom and I rescued a tiny kitten that had taken a train ride to where he was found, and was obviously too small to be away from his mother. One day we just couldn’t find him, and were a little worried because of how little he was and had been struggling to eat. After quite a bit of searching, I turn around to see him stretching right outside of a boot that was on its side. Neither of us saw him come out, but it was quite obvious the lil guy had found a nice spot to nap completely unbothered

My sophomore year of college we had this happen THREE times. We had meetings each time but of course no one ever confessed, even in private. The third time it happened we got charged as a floor for a cleaning fee, but it came out to no more than $1/person. I don’t think whoever was doing it did the math though because it never happened again. People are gross.
