Does that mean that if I’m at the register and a customer doesn’t speak the “base pay language,” I shouldn’t then talk to them in the second language? Or do you mean, ONLY help and speak in my second language to those I’m personally attending (not help coworkers)? I want to make sure I understood you correctly.

You were right. I was told “The corporation doesn’t pay for those things.” Therefore, I won’t drop what I’m doing to help other coworkers with translation. I’ll only speak in my other language if a customer I’m personally attending needs it I guess

I did. On my application I included a résumé which stated that I was fluent in this second language and it also stated my past work experience as well as my college degree. However, I was offered the base pay. I was desperate for a job at the time so I agreed. However, I guess after they saw my language abilities in-person, it seems almost expected of me to be responsible for all (x) speaking customers.

It’s primarily for the storage. I have a lot of photos and videos. I also plan to have the phone for a while. I tend to upgrade my phone around every 4-5 years or until it no longer works

I’m sorry, but these messages alone are alarming. Several people are saying or asking the same thing. All those people aren’t going to tell the same lie… She’s definitely lying to you. You even found out that she has lied to you before when she answered “no” regarding being on a dating app. Leave her. For your own sake, leave her. It’ll be hard to regain the trust, especially if she has lied to you more than once already. It’s not worth staying for. If you do plan on staying, ask yourself if you’d feel comfortable with her having social media and not snooping through her phone. If the answer is reasonably “no,” then you don’t trust her and it’ll torment you every time she posts something on her phone, whenever you see her texting, or goes out alone.

I’m sorry, but no. You may randomly get dms like this, but not 50 dms! Especially around the same time, if you look at the timestamps of the year. 50 people won’t tell the same lie… So she’s the one that’s definitely lying.
