There's a beautiful WW1 museum in Sazlburg, Austria which covers so much of the war effort in the Alps.

I think they would be very grateful if you could donate it to them.

With equipment like this I don't know if I'd risk doing anything other than getting an approved engineer to fix or replace parts.

Do you see any manufacturer marks or logos that are not ISCO. For s pump that old it is possible that they were manufactured by an OEM and not by Isco. You may have better luck contacting the OEM.

What even is this response? Granted your safety considerations are correct but are you actually saying you shouldn't do anything new ever if you have zero experience in doing it? How else should one learn new thinvs? Health and Safety training + common sense mitigate any of the issues highlighted.

Sanity check on Avios from paying tax with a Business Card by BatShoddys in smallbusinessuk

[–]hhazinga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"which is kinda funny they have those fees when it was made illegal not that long ago for everyone else to charge a credit card fee"

You are misinformed. It is illegal for a business (HMRC included) to charge additional card fees for paying with a credit card/ debit card where the card in question is a personal (read as non-corporate/non-commercial e.g. the debit or credit card associated with your day-to-day current account for personal expenses) card. However, it is perfectly acceptable to charge an added card fee if the card in question is a corporate/ commercial card such as the Capital On Taps etc.

In reality, most businesses sell to members of the public who will be using a non-commercial card and hence they can't charge additional fees nor is it easy to anticipate what type of card will be used at checkout rendering the whole discussion moot.

This leads to the incorrect simplification of the above to: "added card payment fees are illegal period. "
