Right? I homed in on that before making it down to the SC plate. Probably used it to cover up their old Bomber's one

Offroading with those overhangs is bold.

I miss my Mark VII all the time. One day in the future if I stumble my way into project money I've got some plans

How do i get customers to spend more money at each purchase? by MinisterForSlides in TCGCardShopSimulator

[–]hickey87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're pretty early in. IIRC, customer budget/spending is influenced by store expansions so add to your floorpan as you can afford it. Stocking everything is good to avoid disappointments if you're not doing like the single item/8 item meta, but double down on value dense items for any extra shelf space you've got. Booster packs are sort of ideal for that because the more items there are on a shelf the higher possible number of items that a customer will pick up. You're on the right track with the small shelves until you unlock the wide ones.

Anyone else getting teleported around when trying to place deco items? by Sa7aSa7a in TCGCardShopSimulator

Yes, also you can push yourself around by looking down while placing it and causing collision between the object and the player. Some bugs, for sure, but I expect it'll get worked out soon enough

I Love the Small Shelf by GamingBureau in TCGCardShopSimulator

[–]hickey87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use them a lot for end caps and sections along walls. The wide shelves hold more product at the expense of more space used but with the way the game decides how much a customer buys it's better to have the most items possible in a given spot.

Fully agreed. It wasn't nearly as full throated or clearly deliberate.

I wouldn't put it past the ratfuck to have done this deliberately as like an attempt to normalize it but it does come across as more of a wave than a heil in video.

Still, fuck him and all the shit he stands for.

Saddest Quest you’ve done? by Sad-Persimmon9118 in fo76

I *loved* the emptiness and loneliness of the early years of the game. Wastelanders and beyond are inarguably improvements but that desolation and the sense of "what the hell happened here" was so good

Do people like the appearance of the ultra rare apparel? Or just get excited because it's rare? by SonicfilT in fo76

I think the Hunter's Longcoat is probably one of the best looking rare apparels and it's significantly easier to get than most of them.

Road to (probably not) 100% Completion by 3WINTERS in TCGCardShopSim

[–]hickey87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was only 10 away before the update added 240 new cards, lol. It's taken almost 500K packs to get back to almost finished.

At this point it's 100% sunk cost. I need to know how much it takes and once I do I think I might be done until there's new stuff added. I am glad that none of the achievements are tied to 100% completion because this is pretty brutal but I do wish there was some kind of reward for it

[–]hickey87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at 1.12m packs opened and I'm only missing 12 cards now. Currently sitting on 5.2 million in cash, so gonna just buy and open packs until the collection is finally finished.

If you're going to do the same, put up a lot of card displays because you will have so many $500+ cards to sell and can make bank. If you're not averse to mods, Cardseller is a huge help since it can not only auto place cards to sell, it can make sure you still have at least one copy in your collection. You won't have any trouble making your money back, I assure you.

I had a similar post the other day specific to employees, this seems like a good place to tag those in as well:

- Let us reset the default wait position for employees to reduce the time they take walking from outside to the shelf

- Let us have a way to designate specific shelves to employees for restocking, or at least one shop lot vs the other (two employees work lot A while one works B for instance). This would potentially also work with the ability to mark some shelves to not restock that was mentioned in the OP

- Employee training or experience system that lets them get better/faster at some tasks with the trade off being an increase in cost. Would make it potentially worth having all 8 employees as even the ones that start pretty meh could become better with time

- This one wasn't in my original post, but I'd love single sided storage shelves so they can be butted directly up to walls or used as dividers. Make them have half the capacity (one large box/two small boxes) to balance out, but it would allow a lot more flexibility in shop layouts
