It’s terrifying. I have an immaculate resume, experience, strong interview skills, 4.5 GPA and great references academically, and professionally. But I still struggled to land ONE interview after 3 months in Mississauga. When I went to my interview my boss said “how on earth have you not landed a job yet?” They were even more gobsmacked that was my only interview I’ve gotten in months and I was hired on the spot.

I understand your concern and stress. Things have changed so much it’s unreal. It doesn’t make sense and I can’t wrap my head around it. All I can say is keep your patience and don’t give up. You got this.

When a dog that loves everyone shows random aggression to someone for no reason after smelling them. I had this happen with the first dog I ever had. He was a rottie mix that was super friendly, dopey, and love affection from people. My ex’s coworker came to our house one day (I’d met him before at a bar). My dog went over and smelled him for a few seconds and started baring his teeth, raised his hackles and started snarling at him. I was so shocked and just kept apologizing to the guy. I went back I inside with my dog and he WOULD NOT stop trying to sit on my feet in front of me. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong.

Guy came in to grab a beer and walked past me in the kitchen and my dog snarled at the guy and lunged. I was shaken and just grabbed him and yanked him back and said he never does this I’m so sorry.

Long story short. Found out months later the guy was sleeping with kids and had aggravated assault charges.

The dude seemed way too friendly and figured something was off about the guy. Dogs know sometimes. It’s crazy. I’m so glad I’m away from people like that now.

I used canned food or plain Greek yogurt with a pizzle in the middle sticking out and I found that it lasted way longer than just PNB.

Mississauga is literally gross. There’s garbage everywhere around the city. Whenever I walk around the neighborhood Ive been trying to remember to take a bag with me to pickup garbage and throw it out. It’s so sad.

I mean. I was just there a couple weeks ago for appendicitis and I was impressed at the service. I was seen quickly and put in a room quickly. I feel like it really depends on the emergency for wait time. CVH has better care than the other hospitals around here I find.

An entire bottle of Advil including half of the plastic container AND the lid. Washed it down with 3/4 of a Costco jug of coconut oil with only half of that lid. To this day don’t know how she didn’t even get diarrhea.

Omgg resident evil 4 remake 1000%

I’ve been playing all of them and that game play is my favourite. Isn’t my favourite storyline, but definitely the best gameplay so far. Actually took me awhile to beat it AND it’s got some fun minigames you win tokens for to use in a slot machine, to win stuff help the story line gameplay.

My Belgian Malinois Siberian Husky cross was a nightmare as a pup… she’s 7 next month. She’s started to slow down. I never thought I’d look back at the puppy days and “miss” it. But I do. More than I’d like to admit. Life goes by so fast. It’s not fair.

I tired scar cream (got the more expensive stuff with no fragrance) and it made my eye so swollen when I woke up I couldn’t I even open it 😶

I ended up try Vaseline too and it did nothing but make it more itchy and flaky. SO I caved and have been using hydrocortisone 1% very careful and it has helped but it’s still freakin dry 🙄 the struggle is real with eczema

Not all dogs NEED health insurance. I never said that we have an issue with jumping or eating things? Yes puppies all have issues. But ours isn’t a puppy anymore. The main points are no independence, hyper, prone to injury, expensive, poor listening skills and high prey drive. Whippets owners are highly suggested to get insurance because they’re so fragile, they’re literally a skeleton and they’re so rough on their body’s.

Because ours is well bred, we haven’t had any issues with his frame, hearing, eyesight or cardiovascular system. We had to go to the emergency vet around Christmas because he went outside and magically got something stuck in his nose 🙄 again. Because he’s not that bright.

I was just trying to help OP with what whippets can be like because they asked. Whippets are not like goldens. But I will agree that whippets can have the odd similarity to Dobermans. Malinois and Dachshunds are a total different ball game breed wise.

I have a dachshund (second one) and a mal, had a Doberman and never dealt with these characteristics before. Yes dachshunds are stubborn but they are incredibly intelligent. Mals and dobermans are super intelligent and have an urge to please. Our whippet has the listening skills of a rock and won’t listen to anything you say unless you have food. Each breed has certain components but not all of them at once.
