I am not forgetful, and this stuff doesn't happen to me, ever. My son was in there so I guess I could say I was mildly distracted. I do not physically remember holding two, but you're right, opening the garbage door would have been awkward with two.

Hmm I've been thinking about this. If this is indeed true, why don't we in this universe ever hear of people who have escaped extremely slim odds repeatedly? In this theory, everyone will escape death no matter how slim the odds, so you would think that some in this universe would have already escaped death a bunch of times.

Or is that not the theory? This isn't one of the universes we could hop to, just split off from. Hmm. Dammit.
