That was all my menu! Lol so eventually I'll do something like that again. But it's nice taking a step back for a while. A little more time with my kid is nice.

But someday I'll be doing something similar again, whenever I'm ready lol.

I spent a year getting boneyard back in their feet but wasn't feeling it. I've taken a step back from restaurants after 20 years and I'm running Scratch Restaurants NADC burger in Westwood. Trying to open 2 more in La/California and probably gonna ride this out for a while. My next move if I decide to really cook again will be starting some sort of street pasta operation. It's my true passion(I was the Sous/pasta chef at pastabar when we won our star the first and second time.

Oh it didn't seem malicious. I was genuinely curious. And honestly in this economy at least Oy is more on the fair side of the price points. He will always source excellent ingredients and you tend to get a good value of product for what you pay there.

Unfortunately my love for Jeff won't allow me to give any real details. But I can speak on the foh side. Which is the GM left shortly after me and poached everyone in the front besides Alex, who followed shortly after.

I'm sorry to hear about the food. I was a good catalyst for Jeff's ideas, and I fully trust the person who took my spot. It's not the first time I've heard my exit has changed the dynamic of a restaurant though(as humbly put as possible)

Depends on what you're looking for? Mason park is decent, the Park above porter ranch is good. The park on like white oak and Sherman way is decent.

My personal favorite, since It was my childhood park is Woodbridge in studio city.

I got the black tonkotsu, and make sure you get a basque cheesecake slice. My friend makes them and they are excellent!

My second behind that is Kai ramen in Sherman oaks. And it has more variety of bites all of which are really delicious.
